Thats wassup, im currently at 326 hp, i should be around 426 ish after taxes.

How did you get 326 from a CAI, Tint? Did you get a tune? Or you adding the advertised hp increase of the CAI to the 312fwhp? How do you plan on getting to 426hp. NOS or turbo? One of the members with a V6 did a 12 sec run on nitros...awesome. Oh yeah, this is not meant to offend you and make you wanna break my face too

Lol, yeah i got a tune also. No i got my eyes on a super charger. Im hoping for 400+ hp. I saw that video from the v6, bad azz.

Yeah, cai 8-12 rwhp depending on, well everything as we all know, so 326 net at the fly can be done. Turbo for 425-500 net depending on how crazy you want to be, but not really developed without the bugs in it yet. So nos or just joshing with you

Unhappy LT misgivings.

One of my students, who is about your age, bought an LT. It's black like my 2SS, but there the similarities end. He super wishes he had the SS; he tells me he will even go so far as to drop in a LS3 engine when he's got up money enough to buy one in the crate.

Save yourself the regret; buy an SS.

For all who haven't mad up there minds yet, do test drives and look at all angles of owning the car just like any other. With this car there is alot of Oh Wow factor that can color the whole decision process. You have to like the car but you have to live with it also so make sure you can do it all and be happy or regret time can come 2LT or 2SS. i'm in a different place then most,I'm 55, ten years to retire and my priorities are beyond any car and focused on living, vacations and enjoying life. I love Camaro's and have had 3 now and one firebird and all V8'S so been there and done that, still have the 98 z28.
I like the v6, wasn't torquey enough and modded it to make it to what I like and figured I would have to going in.I will drive it into retirment and thats my plan anyway.The V6 is a GREAT car and plenty for the street which it was intended, it was not intended to be a V8, it is intended to be a fun and quick daily driver that is priced for most people, The SS was intended to be raced and modded more to get max power if you want with good mpgs for it's class also so can be a daily driver if needed, and of course a BIG EGO BOOST!, Chevy isn't dumb they know us guys want all the SS has if we can swing it. So If the LT is your car and fits you get it. If Money and gas no object and wont in the next 5-6 years be a problem or needed for things that do come up, or maybe you haven'y had a v8 like this one, get it!

it comes down to if you have/want to spend the money on what PKG you want. pure and simple. allot of people who have have a v8 are car guys and wont have it any other way. thats how i am.. IMO if you are asking to get a 2lt or a 2ss then you should get the 2lt. because you are asking. if you have a choice it should be a very easy choice.
