I think they have a few things up their sleeve here. Also there was a rumor the SRT8 is going to be underrated for insurance purposes, but who knows, the 5.7 is so....

My concern is they'll try to jack up the price b/c of the power boost. I strongly considered an SRT8 before getting the SS, which I think based at $42K, but when I optioned it out, with taxes, tags, etc. I was pretty close to $50k.

So I guess you missed my reply or you consider racing after 60mph pointless? 14.1 is not that impressive and 1 guy said he got 12.95 but nither were 100% bone stock.

Yeah, I've done research and have found a bunch of mopar guys talk about how the R/T can compete with the SS but have never come across any proof. I spend a good amount of time at the track and have never witnessed a stock or mildly modified modern mopar run in the 12's, SRT or R/T. I have witnessed 3 SS' do that.

very nice research, your local track......3 out of thousands of challengers and u came up with the average lol.

go to forums and look up time slips.

im glad you dont worry about the challengers. confidence is good.

0-60 is racing as well as 1/4 mile
speed limit is 55. so yes that's what i work on. track racing whole different story(beating would be worse) and 99% of the public never does so these are real life numbers that the population deals with everyday.

I chose to compare the EVo8 because thats the one you reference homey.

Still doesn`t run but a 13.1 in the 1/4. Camaro SS 12.9 in the 1/4, have a nice day my brotha..

As far as 60mph goes, i know of no race track that you only run to 60mph... Racing on the street is illegal.

Um, we had the Evo8 in 03 I believe, we are on Evo 10 now. The evo 8 the US got was NOT the one from top gear, in fact it was around 285 HP. You may want to look into it.

Define cheap money. Dont forget that up unitl the evo x, that the evo was a piece of shit economy car stuffed with awd and a turbo. Nothing more. Looked like shit, sounded like shit, has shit interior, and an all around generic feel.

The evo x is a nicer car though...must be why everyone bags on it.
