I added a little red to my car today. I would have prefered black or blue, but red looks good.
I can't believe that I actually tackled this one myself in my garage.
I'm not a trained mechanic or anything, and no more talented than most of you guys here on the forum. But man, when that suspension went right back into place, and I got it bolted in I had to stop and have a beer and give one of those proud manly nods, just like in the commercials on TV. OH YEAH!!
There are a few more parts left on the floor to be installed yet, but I'm almost done!!

You're a brave man Jeff, it looks really good and some of those parts look really familiar for some reason. LOL.

Hey Mike, you can join me down at SPI in the next week or so if you need a fix.

I got a quote for the trailing arms, Eibach springs and bars. My son is a GM tech so labour is free but I have to wait until he recovers from hernia surgery. Should be shortly after the snow is gone for good.

Those are nice skins man Hankook used to be a client of mine. A lot of people think they make cheap tires - and they do have cheaper lines - but their high performance tires are right up there.

You're going to need more than that.
Ahem - Maybe you made it to Mosport to toodle around the twisties (which I do want to do) but I didn't see you on the strip last year once. And don't start the stuff about how easy it is to drive a straight 1/4 mile. Ask anyone that has done it. It ain't easy

My baby got a pair of these for Christmas (SPi edition) - and yes Jeff, if you don't put these in you're only getting about 50% of the benefit out of all your other hardware. The SPi arms look awesome and they are super beefy. I don't have a pic handy but if anyone wants to see them, come to Performance World in a couple weeks. I'm thinking of doing the install on-site during the show

Kinda ugly to be honest. But race cars aren't always pretty. Do it!

Actually, are those for the Camaro? I don't profess to know a lot about suspension geometry, but I know that most of the stock tailing arms are twisted after a few good runs down the strip. So with all those adjustments in there, even with the lock nuts, I would worry about tortional strength. But, what do I know...

If Lingenfelter uses them, they're good enough for me.
Their car is doing 8.997 @ 158.80.
Sometimes the ugly ones are fast.
