Actually you don't have to sign back up for any Onstar package, so long as you have the button you can use it to enter. You can also enter via the Onstar website although the qualifications for that aren't something I quiet got into.

i already talked it over with my dad, and he said hes down to get the ZR1 or Z06. but i think i see my self in a CTS-V sedan more than anything.

This is great! I'm going to be activating my OnStar account tomorrow, so I'm gonna get in on this. But alas, I am torn, I'd give my left nut for a ZR-1, but where I live it is just not practical (yes, I have an SS, but I gotta draw the line somewhere

). I think I'd go for a CTS-V Coupe. Or maybe the ZR-1.... Hell, If I win, I'll just flip a coin then.

And I see the winners will be announced on the 15th of June, which coincidentally is just after my birthday. Wouldn't that be a great birthday gift!

I have a 2004 Denali and tried this and I get a recording that says that it can't conect to Onstar. So something is wrong with mine :(

sounds like you probably have the old analog onstar hardware....i think when they did the digital transition they offered if you had an onstar subscription a dealership would change out your onstar hardware to make it work with the new digital CDMA network.
