combo you don't nessecarily void your warranty for the whole car, just the parts that you replace. Then if something does go wrong, they have to prove it was a result from the mod. But no, the dealer doesn't provide a tune.

Jagan - yes you are right. I have posted the dyno sheets several times but I think they get lost as the thread dies down. I have reposted the before and afters sheet with the mods minus the trifecta tune and then with the tune. I gained quite a bit back in hp & tq.

I spent 15 minutes reading this thread catching up and this Jeff character is quite and asshole. No respect for others and sounds like he has a big chip on his shoulder; about what I don't know, but sounds like he needs attention. You Sir (Jeff) haven't been ridiculed or anything else on this forum, you have been give respect.

But anyways to the issue at hand. I know PoorMansCamaro, that we have talked about things similiar to this in the past. I hope it works out that Hypertech and finally pull a handheld out of their ass but we will see right? So food for thought though about Trifecta vs Hypertech. 1. Will Hypertech provide a custom tune if their tune doesn't work? Remember that it seems these LLTs are super finicky about what is put on them, each engines seems to be different. 2. What if you put the tune on and something breaks? Can you remove the tune from the car and it not be seen by the dealership? Remember I took mine to the dealer and they couldn't find Vince's tune. 3. How much tuning will it be cabable of doing, as far as TCM goes? If it can load multiple TQ management delete options then hell yea! I like mine at 25% delete and I can chirp through 3rd gear sometimes. 4. Will it be able to take care of any CELs? I know most CELs come from those LT headers, so of course no point in getting it if it cant handle a CEL.

So those are the questions I have thought would be a great comparo for the trifecta vs hypertech.

Here is the before and after dyno sheets with the DA:
Ahhh, yes. now i remember these dyno's. thanks for posting them again.

It amazes me the difference in hp output between the auto and manual. my last dyno i was at 267hp with all my bolt ons and no tune.

I guess I should stop being a pansy and get the trifecta, and worry about switching back and forth between nitrous when that time comes. Now I just need to borrow someone's laptop...

EDIT: and i think i remember this being talked about, but don't remember the results, could the trifecta be loaded with an ipad/iphone?

Not sure about the different platforms that the tune could be loaded from. Yea, your manuals are much more powerful, don't know why. I would just wait on the nitrous and then get the tune.

well, i'll dyno once more without a tune. Make sure my car isn't running lean. If it's running fine, i may wait longer. I'm just tired of looking at the damn CEL. lol

I want to see an afr of around 12, right?

Yeah, if I remember what vince said it needs to be between 11.8 and 12.3, can't remember the figures exactly.

Nice to see you back devildoc and thanks for providing those sheets once again. So it seems you gained around 10 HP at peak with AirRaid V2 tuned versus the same thing untuned? (This was also with all your other mods as well correct?)

Poorman you mention how the manuals seem to dyno more, and you are correct! But I'd be willing to bet if devildoc had dynoed at the same time on your dyno that his numbers would be higher that what shows on his sheet above (you know how it goes...every dyno displays different numbers). I say that, because I remember Mrray dynoing just over 270 with his auto with basically the same bolt ons.

I'll be looking forward to your results.

How big of a shot do you plan on running? With a 75 shot you usually retard about 2 to 4 degees... You might not even notice that on the street, so you could just leave the n2o tune in all the time...
