Ted,
I have been trying to set up datalogging but the PIDS i need are not all pulling up. Can you set up a PID config file and email it out? It looks like you could just load it into the datalogging software and it would be all ready to go unless I am missing something?

There are Several Calibrations, so one must be done for your car, we tried this early this year and it didn't work out.

We are working on a Video walk through of the process this week.

Ted.

Ted and Nick:
Sent you a couple emails tonight Nick. Followed your youtube vid instructions and i am still getting the "send fail" message every time it reads my processor code at the point of "configure datalog Items". When i click "Get vehicle processor ID" it finds it every time. Even tried it on a different laptop. (XP instead of Windows 7)
Spoke with the guys at SCT and their tech stated "some of our tuners dont work on all vehicles" Really? After all the write ups on here and other places about how great your service and tuning is (which i must concur on, except the tuning, still trying to sort that part out, ha ha)
Anxiously awaiting any help you guys can offer.
Stuck on stock tune in NJ......

I get that once in a while. I have to unlpug the usb then unplug theX3 from the OBD-II. Plug the X3 back in to the OBD-II then plug in the usb. Wait about 30 sec for the driver to load for the X3. You may or may not see the new hardware found in the lower right toolbar but it should be good after about 30 sec. Then try again. Hope this works for you! These SCT X3's are a little finnicky!

Mike:
I unplugged from USB, tried in three different USB ports. Device Manager says all is well. I have the most updated drivers.
Followed Nicks and Kens write up about ope software first then plug everything in (per kens instructions) and then the youtube version of plug everything in then open software.
Tried it on two different laptops. Same error messages.
Also receiving "transfer failed 536870933 (livelink: UnloadJungoDriver)" also with the numbers 107341807
I have contacted SCT and Jannetty so we shall see how it plays out..... fingers crossed.

With your mods IAT is not critical. It's more for Forced Induction vehicles than anything else. I believe that is the only PID that does not work on the generic processor code.

The thing we are most concerned with in your application is the fuel trims.

So log it without the IAT's and shoot that over to us!

Ted:
First i would like to say that your companies customer service is outstanding. From all the phone calls yesterday with my Tuner issue, to the support of my questions prior to tuning, all the way thru to the finished product.
Just took it out for a 50 mile scoot, some highway some town……car feels great.
No sluggish feeling, no hesitation.
Has a great pull in the lower rpms in 5th and 6th too.
Second and third are crazy quick.

Kudos to you and your team.

Should i datalog the tune so you can see how the Vararam is working with it?

Just bought one of these based on what people are saying in this thread. Should be here Wednesday.. hopefully can get it done before the weekend. I have just a K&N CAI and Flowermaster cat-back exhaust.. and the DOD makes my 97 s10 more fun to drive.

Received my SCT programmer today and follow the instructions that were enclosed. Ted does not sit on your information! Received my Jannetty Racing tune in no time. Start to finish a shade over an hour. Ted kicked the nanny out of the factory tune and tought the tranny how to shift all over again. Better throttle response, no more FMS, shifts great, and sounds great. Yeah like the commercial on TV sayes I've got pudding face! Thanks Ted
