Nice. I was thinking of getting one like that for a future project instead of the touch wheel I have. What are the modes like?

If you want an indicator inside the car, you can get a small RGB LED strip and mount it somewhere that you can see the glow. You'd just need to run the wires to the controller the same way you run the halo wires. You may need to splice or solder them together with the halo wires because i believe the connection on the controller only has room for one device. Hope that makes sense. Searched eBay real quick and found this for like $3.

OR you could use RGB LED strips as foot well lighting and splice them to the same controller. That way, your interior will match your halos. As long as the controller can handle that amount of LEDs, I do not know the controller specifics and what they can handle but it sounds like a fun idea.

Hmmmm Now you got me thinking. I do have two extra RGB strips not in use from current mod set. I could actually run a set in my glove box. When opening the box the light would shine current color outside : >).....My footwells are already in place and not really interested in having those color shift.

I just posted a new thread on this same remote (oops) How is it working for you. It shows to have one color buttons, do those work well and have colors stated? Also how many lights can be powered from the one box. I have halos, grills, fogs and fender lights looking to power. Oh one light in the armrest also to see color of lights outside

Talking AAC COLORSHIFT 2.0 LED HALOS - TAKE TWO!

Our original car (2011 summit white w/IOM stripes) was bought back by GM in mid-april. We replaced it with a 2012 45th anniversary convertible. one thing we made sure we could swap from car to car was our lighting!

Here's a video of the new car.

I was looking to buy a package for my ZL1... Does the ColorSHIFT 2.0 Halo Kit work for the ZL1? Especially the fogs?

Very interested in a complete package for the ZL1 but need some help/a

Must haves:
ColorSHIFT 2.0 Halo Kit c/w halo fogs and new remote
Afterburner Tail Light Halo Kit (CCFL)
SMD Sidemarkers (Tinted GBA)
Illuminated ColorSHIFT LED Rear Bowtie
Footwell Ambient Lighting

Maybe:
LED High Power Reverse Lights (Tinted)
License plate LEDs
LED Conversion

Very interested in a complete package for the ZL1 but need some help/advice on some of these kits. Is there a number I can call (AAC)to help in a semi complicated order from Canada.

Thanks!
Cory

Customer review:

Jonathan,

Just wanted to give you an update...Earthshaker has performed well in the shows:
(1) First Place - 2000 and newer
(2) First Place - Muscle Car
(1) Second Place - Over all Chevrolet
(1) Second Place - Camaro

I could not have pulled this without the lights. I get people asking me every show where did I get the lights and the controller to flash to the beat of the music! I will have her at Camaros for Heroes in Fayetteville 15-16 June. Keep up the quality as these things are great! I have attached a few pictures I took recently. Some are suppose to be in August 2012 issue of Super Chevy!
