So what's up with all the "missing" VINs? Have you figured out why you have only been able to isolate 90 out of 349 (last one shown) ? Why can't you find the other 259 ? Just curious...

My guess... Canadians and LS/LTs. Also, some may have been tagged for extra validation and not released into the system as having been built yet.

If 25% of the cars are Canadian, 50% are v6s, and the other 25% are US v8s (the ones we're seeing), it adds up perfectly.

as soon as anyone come up with a V6 VIN i would be much obliged. I need to see how much insurance will put me in a hole.

So what changes in the Canadian VINs that you can't find them? Or do you have to go to gm.ca to look to match them and just haven't done that?

Found 1 2ss going to San Jose, CA. Now just waiting for it to say Burlingame, CA.

You have to go to gm.ca BUT their VIN lookup requires the correct dealer BAC (from what I can tell) which I obviously don't have for each car and would be rather difficult to find. I'd basically be brute forcing a 5 digit number against a website and that's just not a good idea.

Print off the window sticker and take it in. Watch them squirm their way out of that one.
