Ok hold on a minute here. You just finished saying that no matter my actions that there is a computer deep in the bowls of my Camaro that will do whatever it wants regardless of what I do. And now your telling me that GM states that I have to slow my shifting because it causes grinding....please stop....Your making my head hurt

Ohhhh...now that explains it alot better for me......man do I ever feel like one of these guys right now.....who da thunk a computer could do all that...dang

SO...wait...using this philosophical type wisdom....a good tuner could just "tune out" the grind in these transmissions?? (thats me on the right there deep in thought about this)

"you need to slow your shifts down to prevent grinding and a medium duty trans will not shift as quickly as a corvette."

Doesn't the corvette use this same transmission?.....boy am I feeling stupid right now...forgive me guys for my ignorance..I must be reading into this too much..I'm soo confused right now....move over az rail.....my head hurts too

ask your dealer these questions. they can print the bulletin up for you.. titled "characteristics of manual transmissions" read the paragraph labeled shifting and see if that helps your headaches.

It's the same basic transmission with different parts. Same goes for the CTS-V.

My dealer is lucky he can pour a cup of coffee without spilling it....but I shall seek these documents that you speak of.

If you find one.....I think by definition then...we actually have Automatic Manual transmissions in these cars now.
