I was only married once. Got divorced almost 20 years ago and will never get married again. I get everything I need being single without all the nagging and drama. There are no minuses to being single.

My girlfriend of 2 years jokes that I'd trade her for a Lamborghini, I said it would be a tough decision but probably lol. I'm starting to feel the single ich. Single guys live it up! Single = stress free life.

i don't know about being married. all i know is i have about 50+ more years of single life left. doing what you want without asking is cool. on the other hand when all your friends are married, and your family that is close by dies, it gets pretty damn lonely. and i'm thinking when you're older it's even worse.

Been married for 13 years and i do all the things you have listed, always have and always will and so does she. Married life isnt bad if you dont allow it to change the person you were before you got married. I feel for you guys that let a woman stop you from doing the things you like

53 years single, never married, absolutely HATE dating. I have 3 brothers, all got married, all got divorced, one VERY ugly..I made my decision about marriage LONG ago. I've heard horror stories of alimony and child support,seen strong men broken by divorce, children of broken marriages with social problems...Oh, I've been in 'love' a few times, and if the circumstances had been different, I'd probably would be married and divorced like most everybody my age..

That being said, My best buddy from high school is very happily married, with 2 great kids and is loving life! I'm very happy for him, and admittedly a bit jealous. it's just the cards ya get dealt, sometimes ya win, sometimes ya lose...right now I'm content with my life and if someone comes along that rocks my world, who knows?

I've been widowed twice. I've been single for 19 years. Had G/F for 4 1/2 years after my second wife died. That ended 13 years ago and haven't been able to find someone I wanted to spend my free time with. It is nice to spend my money for what I want and go when ever and where ever I want. Still it would be nice to have someone to do things with. Let's start a dating service on here. We know everone likes Camaros.
