LS doesn't come in RS, so he got them seperately and it's still set to 118.

it sux to know that w/ out a tune my LS camaro will never go as fast as I've had my 01 Integra gs-r. Just knowing that I would get passed by a honda 4 banger is sickening. Oh well now I know how my friend felt in his Gen3 Z28(stock) when i walked away from him in my gs-r(bolt ons).

That must have felt more like 200+. My girlfriend has an 08 eclipse, and everytime I ride with her and shes going highway speeds it feels more like 80 or 85 (although I'm used to driving my Ranger so it sits up higher).

That said, even when I drive my Camaro I don't 'feel' like its going real fast when im doing 65 to 70ish...definitely not like the Eclipse.

Everytime I get the urge to go 25 over the speed limit, I think about how much the ticket would cost. Then I think about how that money could be better served modding my car! That slows me down.

that cost of a ticket has never stopped me from going more than 25 over in the right scenario.

As low as it was.. It definitely felt a lot faster.. and to be honest it scared the crap out of me haha. I hit like a very small dip in the road and started to bounce, knuckles went white and i think i pee'd a little. Even though I can handle a car nicely, from training i did overseas, it was the dumbest thing ive ever done and i'll never do it again.

I have to agree, the Camaro definitely doesnt feel like your doing whatever speed your doing. I can be running 80mph and not even know it.

The slightest over correction you do at those kind of speeds and you will die and chances are you will kill Innocent people. I will say that I was testing a car for a guy in Germany and was doing 165 and I turned the wheel 0.5 inch's to the right and i was in the next lane. Break to hard you are dead, turn the wheel to much you are dead, don't look far enough ahead you are dead with other people. If you are not 100% focuseded and I mean 100% and know how long the car takes to travel at said speed, then your time to break and kcontrolrole of the car with out crashing, then take 2-5 seconds for reaction time ext. Like I said if you are not train DONT DO IT. Thinking you know what you are doing becaus you have scen one to many fast and the furious movies or had your fill of watching car races is not good hard practice and exsperiance.

Lol i topped my Maxima out at 140 nothing scares me!

But true after 120 you do really start to feel it, 100 not so much. You also forgot the best part, THE MOTOR. Any car I've taken over 115 or so starts to sound so crazy strong and deep, its awesome.

Georgia has one of those excessive speed laws that make it real painful!
