See, that is exactly why I want the factory rims. I KNOW they will hold up to what I plan on putting them through. I would hate to spend that much money on a set of rims that get bent under track conditions.

My wheels have held up fine. I've had them on for over a year. Nashville doesn't have the smoothest roads, and they have been tested on potholes, etc...

What I meant was that even if Factory Reproduction makes some, they would make forged ones like the factory due to price I think. I got my set of 22's for $1,200 from them, I KNOW they can't make Forged wheels that cheap they would lose a boatload of money doing so!

That is the only reason I still want the factory SSX wheels.

ZL1 (SSX rims)
Front: 22798741 MSRP: $1038 each (GM)
Rear: 22798743 MSRP: $1041 each (GM)

I've posted these numbers plenty of times... they are available in many threads... and you can get them for 780ish with a $50 core charge I believe

that's not bad if you don't have to pay for the core charge... or is the difference between your prices making up for that, the 784-820 range?

I wont be putting mine through anything except road driving conditions so the reproductions will be perfect for me.

WTF??? You are 22 a ZL on order, have Master's degree, gov. job, bringing it 100K per year? Sounds alright to me!

I'm a combat vet too and could have made claims but just like you I was able to return to work. I was and still am proud to say that I served, asked nothing in return and came back and got to work just like our heroes from WWII and Korea did. What is wrong with this generation and their thirst for entitlements??

Whew...sorry knee jerk post and felt like I need to come back and edit. I don't know what your disabilities are...if you are missing limbs or an eye then by all means. If its anything else...but still able to hold down a full-time job as a psychologist then I stand by my original statements.

Have fun with your ZL1!

I do like the SSX wheels...and the price sounds right for the product...but still a little more than I want to spend. I also don't want to be THAT guy driving an SS with ZL1 poser wheels. Just my opinion...
