I am a Sr. Network Engineer for the Department of Defense. So I sit in big building deep undergroud watching little blinky lights, if they turn red, I fix the problem, otherwise I sit at my desk and read about the future addition to my car addiction. I am praying for some information about engine options. My whole plan revolves around the power plant. I cant plan my mods if i dont know the power plant.

Gah, I need to be studying so I can get my next Microsoft Cert. But I can't focus on the materials long enough when I have to keep checking here and Chevy Nation. Somebody please just lie to me and tell me the update was posted, but my computer refuses to show me? ...or something?

EDIT: Actually, that gives me an idea. Every time I get one of the practice questions right, I get to check for an update! I better not miss too many in a row, I don't know if my willpower's that good...

Nobody seems to be too interested in the update this time around. There's only 11 of us (members) online right now. Did everyone get burned out last week? Or did I miss something and the announcement was already made?

I think people are just going to bed and are going to check it in the morning, they all were so dissappointed last week they cant bear the pain again. Its 230 and still nothin, I might cry.

P.S. I HATE MCSE CERTS!!! nothing against software guys but my brain cant handle that stuff, Im CCNP, CCDP and im happy with my simple routers and switches.

I'm kidding. I've been looking forward to this too. But, I have a feeling nothing is getting posted until the staff gets in at 7am or 8am this morning. Yes, Scott and John said the second Thurs of the month. There will be something. But, the big news was (from what I remember and was according to Scott) supposed to be the pic being released of the prototype.

If I recall correctly, it was said that they were looking for some other type of info to be released....since there was a mess up the first time. So, I don't know how great the info will be, but there will be something.

In the meantime............while waiting..........................let's see...............

The wife and I painted our second sons room. His crib is in our room. We are going to move the computer into our room and the baby into his own room. Now I get to keep my wife up until the wee hours of the morning...

We just bought an HP Insperon "top of the line" computer. Has something like 500 gigs/ram/somethin for memory. The speed on this computer is supposed to be phenomenal. Don't know.... We have Time Warner coming tomorrow to drop in another line in our room so we can relocate the computer. Don't wanna hook it up until all is set up. Can't wait to see it run, though. Finally...a new, flat screen, 22", LCD monitor....rather than this huge picture tube monitor.

Then....my Grandfather won a flat screen HD 1080i (or p...yeah...I forgot) 30" widescreen TV in a bowling tournament. They had it at the house for just under a year trying to sell it. I wanted to buy it for $400, but just didn't have the cash to spend. Finally picked it up yesterday to take the place of my Sony 28" picture tube in our master..that'll be nice. Hopefully I can sell this computer off to my brother for $300...scanner, new printer, and entire computer. Oh, and we also just bought another new printer/scanner/copier (all in one deal) to go along w/ the new computer.

It's been a crazy couple of days...spending too much $$$, working, painting....ugh...ready for a break. And...I go back to work tomorrow.

WHOEVER FINDS THE NEW INFO FIRST, PLEASE START A NEW THREAD IN THE PROPER SECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh...and the wife spilled coke all over my cell phone today. SOOooooo.....it's freakin FRIED. Now, I get to go get another phone....ugh. At least we bought the INS to go w/ the phone. So, I'll be paying another $40 or so for a refurbished phone. If not, I'm getting a new one. Dang...and I liked my phone.
