BUT................I do want to at least sit in one before I place an order.

The two dealers here STILL DON'T HAVE A SINGLE ONE! Do you think this is the fault of dealers dragging their heels in their initial order...............or, is it Chevy? Yet......I did see a YELLOW one on the road this week...............I guess just going through town.
My local dealer is holding a BBQ/test-drive event this weekend for the yellow V6 auto on their lot. Your dealer may be doing something similar soon.

As far as the age thing (which you've already solved), one of the things I like about the Camaro is older guys look cool in it. I'm 47 and have a secret lust for a Mitsubishi Evolution with that big ole wing on the back, but I think I would look silly in it 5 years from now. Not so with the Camaro.

Red face PULLED THE TRIGGER

We did it! This 70 year old and his 70 year old wife test drove and placed an order for a 2010 Camaro!!!

See what y'all - with all your positive input went and made us do?

The only dealer I found in miles............Friendly in Troy, NC.........who had an actual car on the lot. I test drove their silver 2LT RS automatic. LIKED IT VERY MUCH! My 4' 11' wife even felt comfortable behind the wheel with the telescoping steering wheel and power seat.

ORDERED a 2LT RS automatic - Red Jewel Tintcoat with grey leather interior and sunroof. Sales Manager said it would probably be 5 - 6 months until delivery.

The Sales Manager drove the car home on Saturday evening. He had several people follow him home............wanting to see and/or make an offer on the car. As we were test driving today - a whole lot of hard stares!

We did it! If I could figure out the "smiles" on this site I would post appropriately. Anyway - this 70 year old couple is EXCITED! We've joined the 5th generation ranks!!

Where can I get curb feelers and convex mirrors for my Camaro? My only complaint with this design is that the rear window shelf is not large enough to hold my entire ballcap collection. Oh, and one more thing. Where do you think I should place my AAA sticker?

All opinions welcomed.
If you're 71 and online, posting on this board and enjoying a Camaro - then heck yeah, go for the upgrade, sir. You deserve it!
