1. The 2012 "Function over Form" steering wheel ...

2. A memory back seat with a conscience and a loud mouth........

3. A trunk ape with chronic diarrhea.........

4. A V6..............just kidding..............

5. A low fuel warning light on the dash, with a two toned crusier in the rearview............ moving forwards fast, lights flashing and a obviously aggravated driver in the pilots seat.

6. Cloth seats.............oh! Nevermind...............covered that in item 2.

I've test driven two camaros with the old steering wheel as I'm looking into trading in my V6 for a V8, and I must say once I've gone to the 2012 wheel, I can't imagine myself going back. It might look cooler to some, but the 2012 wheel is just so much more functional and comfortable IMO. The button placement is just off.

You do realize that I'm goshing for the most part when-ever I make mention of the steering wheel...............I pray

I'm actually poking fun with those engineering folks who once referred to the original design in a discussion over the seeminly over night introduction of a replacement in the upcoming year 12 model.... and that the 10-11 versions had been designed, expedited into production and then installation on a admitted "Form over Function" bases...........meaning it was imperative to get the cars into early buyers hands quickly...........more important than tossing bins full of product ( Original steering wheels) into waste file 13. In jest........Working out the design quirks in the inturn......and introducing them as improved" Function over Form" in newer year models, ie. I accept this..........though still a bit miffed and mystfied...........lol

In all seriousness it is my belief that each year model including its features....... is in its whole. the total sum of all of its unique parts. Pretty much in the same fashion as it always has been in the ever advancing transportation business. Changes are good! Otherwise we'd all be riding in horse pulled wagons or worse yet walking barefoot................

I love my wheel and love it, that you love yours................

Mines still a collectors item though........
