I really appreciate you guys helping me out, but I am certainly NOT trying the thread jack at all.
Those are what I have on mine and they work fine. Only things I can think of is to make sure the throttle body is tight and sealed; make sure the connecting clamps on both ends of the intake are clamped tight, and check the line coming into the CAI as indicated in the pic below.

I decided not to go the shrink tube route on the ends; I got proper hose clamps and clamped both ends to make sure there weren't any leaks. I know it comes with the shrink wrap but I didn't want to take any chances of a leak so I went with clamps.

Make sure the MAF is properly seated, sealed and secured.

If all those things are good then I'd recommend having your tuner look into the idle maps in the ECU.

do you have clamps on your catch can hoses?

better yet, take it off, and see if your problem goes away. if it does, there is something wrong with the can.

i orginally looked at a different picture.

I actually went with the shrink wrap. Everything felt really tight, but I know that these engines will suck a lot of air in when pushed. Ill add the extra measures of clamps and see what happens. Like you have mentioned having the tuner take a look at the idle maps and then take a look at which sensor is reading different than stock to try and find where this leak might be. Thanks!

If you're talking about me, I took the catch can completely off and it didn't help.

At this point I am not gonna worry much about mine any more til the fest or after. Need to get a good tuner to drive it and tune it.

PQ, is yours crackling and popping a lot on the decel? Or is it just the idle you notice a problem with. I noticed once I fixed my first airleak at the TB, the popping stopped on the decel, and was wondering if maybe you were experiencing this type of problem.

I get the crackling and popping on decel. It's only at idle that I have a problem. And really only when I put it in gear and give it slight gas to back up then it dies.

I actually got it logged doing it today. Posting now.

So I logged the car starting up and then going to back up and it died.

I went to go to lunch and when I backed up the car died. So I pulled back in the parking spot and started logging. (LOVE this app, started a log by grabbing my phone and hitting 3 buttons. )

So while I logged I started the car, went to back up and gave it a tad bit of gas and sure enough, it died.

However, I apparently am not logging the correct PIDs to get an idea of why.

As you can see in the blue, there were no abnormal readings when it died. So I need to log the right stuff.

The phone always keeps my latest datalogged PIDs as the default. So which PIDs should I keep on ready?

Sorry. The first collums are default ones.

Here's the ones I logged. Easier to read.

Well, at the fest we discovered an exhaust leak that had gotten worse on the drive up. Couldn't hear it unless your head was in the engine bay and someone reved it a bit. noise was on the driver side. I changed the driver side header gasket out in the parking lot Friday night but the symptoms were all still there. The gasket showed obvious signs of leakage. Unless Vengeance didn't clean the carbon off of the passenger side heads when they changed the header manifold gaskets then they are leaking too. I used a mirror to see carbon signs out of three of the ports.

I haven't had time to do anything since I got back. Doesn't look to change either. Not till after the weekend. Passenger ones are not as easy to do.

If that's not it then I don't know. I have to log it still.

On the AC if it is slightly over filled the compresser will stop engaging, I had this issue on another vehicle anytime it got over 90* it would completely stop working. Does the compresser engage when its not working?
Sounds alot like the issue mine had after tuning. If I would let it roll in gear and ride the brakes it would start to surge so bad it almost chirp the tires when trying to recover, it would get worse just turning on the AC because it put a slight load on the engine. He finally found that it was putting negetive timing at idle. Not sure if this is exactly how he phrased it but it was something to do with loosing way to much timing and then trying recover would put in tons of timing, tike 40* still at idle.
Mike Norris is the one who tuned and found the problem.
Hope this helps.

Scott
