That being said, if you want it then go for it. After all, its your car
This is why I am getting a new Camaro. Damn sunroof never wanted to work properly. Now I get no sunroof + reverse mohawk for the win!

I hate the way the roof looks without the sunroof. The sunroof was a deal breaker for me.

I live in Florida...Made the car too hot, and I never used it. Traded in my 10' with a sunroof for a 12' without.. Digging the reverse

Looks good open, and the dealer cut me a deal and shaved $600 off the price of the sunroof. Also nice to open the screen but leave the roof closed to let some light in. Also when open it doesn't make much noise and there's no rough winds or anything. Totally worth it IMO.

If you're really tall, you won't want a sunroof cause it shortens the head room inside.

Don't care for sunroofs much. I have never used them when i had them. Save's me $1000 to get the car without them!

I specifically went with no sunroof to retain the 'groove' in the roof.

Looks great inside and out.

Also, like many sunroofs, it lowers your headroom and is set too far back to really enjoy.

I always had sunroofs in my cars and used them daily. I purchased my Camaro without a sunroof because it looks better without. Guess what, I have not missed having a sunroof one bit... If you really want a sunroof to see the stars and sky, buy a Vert instead

That said, I love my sunroof. As one poster said, you're IN the car, so you can't see the roof sticking up! Weather in the Pacific NW doesn't really favor convertibles, so sunroof is a great option here - they close really fast if it starts to rain!
Webasto makes a fine sunroof that retracts inside, and you loose not much headroom. looks good too, and doesn't cost much...about 1 grand installed

My 2 cents worth. Back in the day I had a 79 Trans Am w/T-Tops. Everyone said it would leak. It never did. I traded it for a 85 Iroc. It leaked. I took it back to the dealer and they didn't fix it, so I fixed it myself. It turned out not to be the T-Tops. It was leaking at the top of the rear window. I traded that car for a 87 Iroc w/T-Tops. It's been 25 years now and I still own it. It still has it's original T-Top seals and it's never leaked once. I recently sold my 99 Grand Am GT that I'd owned for 10 years. It had 212k miles. It's sunroof never leaked and never malfunctioned. If I'd ordered my 2010 Camaro, I wouldn't have ordered a sunroof. I'd have preferred to save the $1000 and have the reverse mohawk. But, since I bought mine with 2k miles on it, I saved a lot more than $1000 and the sunroof was not a showstopper. It hasn't leaked, it hasn't malfunctioned, and I doubt it will.
