Hello again to everybody who's participated in this thread.
If you read my previous posts, you know I never finished up and I'd like to bring you up to date.

I shipped my Pype Bombs back and got a refund minus shipping. These will not fit my car (2012 LS) unless you have them professionally installed because they simply will not fit by just cutting and clamping. They are made for V8's and the difference is not much but it is enough that you'd have to have some work done at a muffler shop in order to fit them. Too bad, they were light weight, in-expensive and not overwhelmingly loud, the only stigma is some drone. Plus the 4" diameter of the tips is a tight squeeze for the V6's rear diffuser which barely clears them.

What did I end up with? Flowmaster axel back, and am very happy with them, I had spent many hours listening to Youtubes of v6's with that system, also some v8's just to get general tone samples. I am very, very, satisfied with them, they went on exactly as they are suposed to. There is a vid by Flowmaster on youtube showing my exact car getting a set, it's so easy. The weight of these big black boxey things is 16.7 lbs. each side, not bad compared to the 25 lb. trash cans it came with.

I know this isn't a Flowmaster thread so I won't go into detail here just will say I like it, sounds deep and throaty, never ricey. I've still got the Magnaflow resonated X pipe new in the box which I might have a muffler shop weld on for me. To put that on, it takes too many clamps plus it is located directly in the center, if you got no way to raise the car other than ramps, you can't put this on.
