So....let me get this straight. Your defense for pimping your knock off headers is that everyone who has ever sold/bought/installed a set of headers (which includes yourself) is a morally corrupt lawbreaker...so that makes steeling someone elses work okay? Thousands of terrible companies and members on this board.

We really need a throwing sh*t at the wall smilie.

And actually you don't have a right to anything on Camaro5 except what the moderators site owners allow. You are a guest in their house.

And it's not for you to talk morality, cheating, and illegal when you take part in illegal modifications like I pointed out before. Sure your customers sign waivers before you modify or remove the cats and you turn your back as they drive off, but you're still morally corrupt in that aspect. Because it is illegal. We can sit here all day going back and forth.

But still, I and others have the right to purchase whatever we want without your insults. And we have a right to post about how great they are. I bought it with my money, it looks great, it installed easily, it works great, I got good results form them, and I've had no problems with them. These are the same statements that others make about other brands. So I too can make a thread saying these things because it is the absolute truth. Immorality does not make a header work, fit, or look like crap. If you don't like OBX, then stay away from threads that are talking about them. Or hell, don't stay away, it's a free country. But don't expect me to think my headers are crap solely on the basis that there is a rumor that it is a stolen design. And even if it is true, OBX is still a damn good header.

I'm not defending my purchase because I don't have to. I was just saying that your calling foul for a company doing something illegal is kinda hypocritical. That would be like me running a red light but then blasting someone about speeding. And by the dubs, I have the right to freedom of speech and the right to express myself. If I make a post praising the headers I bought, and everything I said is true, and my post is within the established guidelines of this forum, then I do have the right (or priviledge) to make such a post on this forum.

This is over done. I'm actually wondering why this thread hasn't been locked already. Maybe they're letting it run itself dry. Anyway, I think we all had more than enough opportunity to express how we individually feel about certain brands. Nobody is gonna jump to the other side of the fence based on these 5 pages. So Imma go my way and do me. I bought my ish for a reason, and everyone on here bought their ish for their reasons. Don't like OBX? I don't care...I like them and I think they are great for the many reasons that have been mentioned. You bought Kooks or ARH or TSP or whatever? Good for you. End of the day, I got a set of LT 1-7/8ths 304 stainless steel headers for a great price that fit great, look great, and work great!! That's all that matters to me. I'm cashin out...

you do have the right. The only problem i have with OBX header buyers is when they talking about kooks headers and say people are dumb for buying them at full price. or something along those lines.

is that fair to say ?

I will agree with you on that. It isn't fair. People have the right to spend their hard earned money on high quality items if that is what they desire.

I work with Chinese material every day as well as domestic, German, Romanian, and allot of others. Many of our customers specify no Chinese material. All I can tell you is their quality control is not what it should be, when machining it one piece will machine great and the next will be like bubble gum. My experience is with their mild steel not stainless, but I'm told the quality problem is across the board. Luckily I can afford the the Kooks and will be ordering some soon. Maybe put yourself in someone else's shoes, if you spent hundreds of thousands on R&D, patent rights, and manufacturing equipment on a product that you thought up, and that product was copied immediately and produced for half price overseas how would you feel? This happens every day in the U.S.. Any one who says it would be alright if it happened to them is full of .

Local dyno shop will not tune vehicles with china headers due to liability regarding cracking/melting which = fire.....
