Bakersfield takes you back in time. Since becoming an NHRA sponsored track many improvements. Hope they paved enough space for autox or you will be in the dirt.

I hope there is a caravan of Camaros, long drive from LA, the drive will be fun

Funny a few people said the same thing about the 3rd annual cali meet at buttonwillow racepark which is a road course. and that turn out was not even close to what was expected, was good times none the less. I'm not a auto x person and most of the central crew are not also, mostly drag racers and road course. But we are willing to try out a little auto x for this event

Well all we pretty much have in SoCal now is AutoX. No road courses and Fontana was shut down. The 1/8 strip is a mess and in poor shape. I really wanted to go to the Buttonwillow BBQ, but it was on a weekend I had to work.

LA-Bakersfield
Long drive that's like a trip to the super market for me.

Also I understand Kevin Harvick bought a track out there that some big wig was building (along with his huge house) but ran out of money. I hope so and I hope he fixes the track.
