just curious, if you would line up against a ss lets say at about 80mph do you think you could beat the ss? for some reason i think you are going to say yes

Otherwise, I don't think beating a car that doesn't make much more power, and weighs considerably more is anything to brag about.

Usually where they run, the DA is 2,500+ and and SS is lucky to get into mid 13s, but this particular run, the DA must have been very good.
i don't think trapping 102mph is worth bragging about.

I race in 2000-3000 da many times. My car never gone slower then 13.2 stock with a bunch of 13.0 passes 109 unless I botched the run, put headers on it and run 12.7-.6 112 in the same weather! Granted I have an ls3 that l99 was running like a turd! My car would have ran 12s stock in 500da fairly easy!

Can't say I enjoy being made fun of lol. I can take some light hearted jabbing with the best of them, but around here that crap gets way too serious way too fast.

I love my modded V6. I don't have much desire to have an SS at this point. The sound is the only thing I wish we could have, but for anyone that REALLY knows the V6, we know it can sound pretty damn good as well for what it is without the weed wacker sound. Just takes a lot more effort than the SS does to sound decent.

IATs can kill the power on these LS vehicles just as fast as low octane fuel, if not faster. First time I put my foot in the radiator of my TBSS I felt sick, it was 90 degrees out and the truck had a hard time getting out of it's own way. If this guy was letting his camaro sit and heatsoak itself I'm surprised it ran that fast...

The best time that stock L99 SS could muster was 13.5....

You know he was trapping 102.7-104.0, that's a decent ET for the trap speed IMO.

Okay okay ill stop... :/

Those 3.69 gears are killer. That really helps these Maximas and Gs get down the strip fast. Nissan gears them very aggressively. I hope for the 6th gen Chevy drops 3.73s into the V6 models, it would help a lot because these 3.23s dont cut it.
