I line up at a stop light against a Mustang, Challenger, some Corvettes and laugh when they hit the gas and then normally pull away from the light. Yes, I want to complain, this is the best car I have ever owned. I also want to complain about FBODFATHER, why did you guys design and build such a fantastic car? I want to complain about Super 60 who obviously loves his job and us, his customers. I want to complain about Becky @ Rodgers who out of the goodness of her heart helps sooooo many of us here. Well, I am running out of things to complain about, so i think I will go out and suffer through another ride in the car.

P.S. I forgot to complain about Chevrolet Customer Service, they are always lurking around here spying on us.
Epic post... I have the same EXACT COMPLAINTS...

...today, in a nutshell, people have been given a free pass through a process over time to complain at will about anything and everything. There is a prevailing sense of entitlement that exists, that varies between States, that coddles and perpetuates this process. For funsies, watch reruns of Rob and Wendy Whiner of SNL to look in the mirror if one is of that culture.

zl1 with many issues

my 2013 has been in the shop at least 4 times in the last 5 weeks. the main issue i had was an 02 sensor that kept acting up and my dealer grandprize chevorlet didnt have a clue. it seems to have been resolved at this point. my second issue is this annoying grinding sound coming from the fromt of the engine while at idle. this is still unresolved but the car will be dropped of at grandprize chevorlet in miami fl. on tuesday so they can have a look at it. my third issue is my a/c dials dont change the number setting most of the time when increasing the setting. the a/c would be on full blast with the number setting still stuck on the number 1. my fourth and final issue is with the quality of the rim paint coating around the lug nuts has faded and gm doesnt want refurbish the rims nor replace them with rims that have a quality paint coating on them. ive owned mustangs in the past and now i wish i'd just bought a new gt500 instead because this car has too many issues. oh yea, and the gm personel that hang around the boards here are no help and a waste of our time and energy. they get on here and try to give us the illusion that they have our best interest at hand but believe me folks when i say, they dont. i mean really, what can they do that the dealer cant? answer: not a damn thing. this bullshit phone maid named REDD that so called handled one of my cases hasnt a clue and all he did was give the usual custormer service mombo jumbo bull without really doing anthing at all. if you guys/gals have any problems with these cars you should flood the dealerships with repairing any little issue there is and stop making excuses for these cars because you're a so call loyal customer. gm only wants your money and if they could have it their way and get away with it they'd tell us "too bad so sad you've bought it now suck it up". they dont say this because there are laws that prevent them from saying it and not because they care about the customer. wake up folks!!

Show us pictures of your new GT500 after you sell the ZL1. The thing about the wheels is we all have the same issue with lack of paint on the wheel but still drive the car don't we? It's not a "quality issue" it's a "quantity issue" regarding the painted wheels. Take them off and have them powder coated and you'll never have to worry about them again. I did notice that my dial did do the same number freezing on the display. The fan and A/C functioned as normal so I just ignored it. The next restart it was reading again.

Update to earlier post: service mechs at dealership have been pondering WTF is going on with my 2012 #1098. Yesterday they called me and wanted to drive it around town to see if they could duplicate the original problem. Seems the mechs are clueless on what the underlying problem is and they also told me that GM mechs are scratching their heads too. One helper hint: since the car is manual, service mechs did get it running after they rolled and popped the clutch....this was only a temporary step to get the car started, then the car eventually coded out and reduced power, engine sputter, cut off occurred.

Sorry you're having issues, however it appears part of the problem is the dealer not GM since you've returned it for the same issue numerous times. All manufacturers have issues hence the warranty. As a matter of fact GM and the Camaro plant just received higher ratings than Ford...and most all other automobile manufacturers from a 3rd party agency monitoring them.

I was really pissed that my car sat in QC for so long but now I am happy, it was worth it. I have not had one issue that they could have caught in QC and those two things the dealer worked with me to solve. I did not complain instead worked with my dealer and they have been very good to me. Like they say honey will get you further than sour grapes!
