If I remember right the SOLO cats come with the o2 extender for the rear? You still have to run them or the light will come on, yeah?

That is correct. Actually as an addendum to what I said earlier about the reliability of the Solo cats, there was one issue albeit a minor one. After a few heat cycles the rear O2 sensors had to be retightened. I heard a faint rattle at idle and pinpointed the sound emanating from the rear sensors. Retightened them and have never had problems since. I remember someone mentioning a product called loctite to help them stay in place but mine have stayed put after the re torque.

You can get the extenders on the ARH. I had them on mine. No CEL

That I'm not sure of. Can't be much. They just gave them to me. They didn't put them on originally and then they put them on in two minutes. Small little piece. Can't imagine anything redic. Give them a call if anything.

Trust me these two set ups sound almost the same very little difference in overall sound ..save yourself the possible headache of a problem and get the solos you will not be sorry ...its very hard to make the v-6 sound good and solo has made the v-6 sound like a high performance sports car ....in my opinion the other types of exhaust sound more truckish...

Appreciate it man but I've already decided I'm going to be going with solo cats. They've been around longer and everyone has them for a reason right? I mean if the ARH cats were so much cheaper and better everyone would be selling their solo's and buying these.

Just installed the arh catless down pipe . I feel a difference in my car. An I thought it would be loud but it's not so that's a plus. Hopefully I can get to the dyno to see the gain.

sounds like it will throw a code without the rear o2 extenders.

Even with the o2 extenders a CEL is still a posibility right?

I guess it's possible? But probably way less likely unless one of them were to go bad or get loose
