The full regs for the Z/28.R are not yet in this document; see page 4, and then see page 3 for the older Camaro GS regs. Text indicates the full regs will be determined prior to Sebring on March 13th.

So how did it do at the Continental race at Daytona??

Only information I can find is that it appears BMW won.. But I'm curious where the Z/28 R finished.

I read the highest finishing Z/28.R was 13th.
Oh I just read the winning BMW was disqualified on a mechanical infraction, so I guess the Camaro finished 12th.

With the penalty given to Turner, the CKS car finished 10th. The Stevenson cars had some issues and finished 22nd & 23rd in class.

All I can find is the finishing order before the penalties. Also they list all the Camaros as GS.R not Z/28.R

Interesting on the BMW disqualification. I'll have to look that up. My guess is that BMW will have some changes mandated.

You can't have high expectations for a new car. It ALWAYS takes some time.

...saw a good portion of the 24 hr. race...that was televised extensively, an exciting race to the end. Twists and turns, not only on the track, but for teams and drivers as well.... with a controversial finish in the GTD class.
