...IMHO without reading the thread I feel they are both nice colors with old school hues going forward. The thing today with colors is the tri color mix of metal flakes that gives false hues to the color "warmth" or true nature depending on the sunlight.

Thank you , I was getting confused , I was thinking that Laguna blue was old blue eyes. But that's not true. So we have no idea what old blue eyes looks like like at this point.

The green looks decent on the vette, but on the cruze is kind of blah. I hope the Camaro Can pull it off.

I would like to a see a dark silver offered, like what was available on the '84 Camaro.
My '84 Z28 was dark silver with charcoal ground effects and charcoal wheels with Blackwall it was a head turner. |

Lime Rock Green, Laguna Blue Tintcoat?
Hmmmm? What do you guys think?
By Patrick Rall G+ 2014-03-06 18:35 2015 Source: http://www.torquenews.com/106/2015-c...-blue-tintcoat Attachment 605853 Chevrolet Camaro Could Get Lime Rock Green, Laguna Blue Tintcoat There aren't many changes expected for the Chevrolet Camaro until the next generation arrives for the 2016 model year, but to keep the interest of prospective Camaro buyers around the country, General Motors could introduce Lime Rock Green and Laguna Blue Tintcoat for the 2015 model year.Whether you are considering the Chevrolet Camaro, the Ford Mustang or the Dodge Challenger, you have a wide variety of colors to pick from which includes some unique, limited edition colors. For the 2014 model year, the special limited edition color which has been all the talk around the internet is Deep Magenta. This color has been shown off at a few recent auto shows and the sort-of pink/sort-of purple metallic paint is currently available in the Chevrolet Camaro configurator page and we can expect those models to begin hitting showrooms and driveways later this year. However, the fact that the special color for the 2014 Camaro is basically pink has many tough guys clamoring for a more masculine color for 2015. The 2015 Chevrolet Camaro could feature two eye catching colors that are borrowed from the current Corvette Stingray lineup. This includes Lime Rock Green – which is similar to the deep metallic green featured on the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Touring Convertible Concept (shown above) that was introduced at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Lime Rock Green is an optional color on the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette for an upcharge of $495 and the growing popularity of green exterior hues combined with the interest in limited edition colors could make this dark green a big hit with Camaro buyers in 2015. Laguna Blue Tintcoat is the other color expected to arrive in the option list for the 2015 Camaro and this color is also currently featured on the 2014 Corvette Stingray. This optional color is one of the most expensive offered on the Stingray with an upcharge of $995, but this is arguably one of the best looking colors on the new Corvette. The rumors of Laguna Blue being added for 2015 also suggests that Blue Ray Metallic will be removed from the color palate once the lighter blue arrives. Provided that Lime Rock Green and Laguna Blue Tintcoat do make it to the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro configuration page, they will most certainly be premium paint codes with an upcharge. The question is how much these attractive hues will cost on the Camaro as with prices of $495 and $995 on the Corvette Stingray, they are both more costly than the premium paint codes for the 2014 Camaro. Right now, the most expensive paint options for the 2014 Camaro are Deep Magenta, Crystal Red Tintcoat and Bright Yellow – all of which add $395 to the final price of the GM muscle car. This will be particularly interesting if Laguna Blue displaces Blue Ray Metallic in the Camaro color palate as Blue Ray is available with no upcharge while Laguna Blue is one of GM’s most expensive current colors. If Laguna Blue is introduce as a premium color with a premium price, GM will almost have to introduce a new blue (or leave Blue Ray in the lineup) so that those folks who want to buy a blue Camaro may be turned off by having to pay a couple hundred dollars extra just to get a blue car.
