Same here! Here's a story for ya:
I've ALWAYS wanted a 67 SS/RS L78 (396/375) in Laguna blue. I had YearOne and plenty restoration books on them while in high school. My twin bro had them for '70 Chevelles. (Btw, Im 36.) I did well on the ASVAB so I had the military calling me left and right. I figured, what the hell? I'll let the ARMY come speak with me. The guy comes over and opens up a binder. He shows me a picture of $100 bills. He says, "You see this? You can have all that if you join!" I said, "How much are we talking?" He says, $900 a month." I said, "Nah, not enough." He says, "Ok, what will it take for you to join the ARMY?" I said, "You get em a 1967 camaro SS with a 396/375HP and I'll join. Thats ALL I want." He said, "I can't do that." I said, "Well then, I cant join." Had the ARMY been able to do that? Theyd have gotten me at a steal because back then? That car was only about $15000 for an original one in perfect condition. Now theyre upwards of $80k. So I opted for what I have in my sig.

Interesting poll but it's a little too granular. Trying to quickly narrow it down a bit, it looks to me like there are a lot of people with Camaros in their 40's, which is what I would expect really:

26 here. My first car when I was 16 was a 1991 Camaro RS. White with black and gold racing stripes. Absolutely loved the car. Graduated college and saved up for a few years to be able to afford the 14 2LT/RS I'm driving now. Love these cars.

When I was buying my Camaro, there was a guy there trading in a 5th Gen for a SUV type vehicle.. He had 2 boys with him, so I agree with this post 100%

52 when I got my 1st Camaro (Just a month ago). My brother had a 79 Camaro that I drove a few times, and fell in love with it, and I have wanted one ever since. This was the first opportunity I had to buy the car of my dreams. I only will be driving her 6 months of the year, but it will be worth it.
