Memphis is a great town to party in on Beel Street. Has some things to see there if you want to extend your stay as well like the KING'S home and car collection. I have been there several times and I would definitely go if it were in Memphis and I know a bunch of my Chicago buddies would be there, Just saying!

St Louis is a good idea also.

I've only made it to one Fest and that was the first one in Valdosta, Ga. The cruise was great!! I had too much going on this month so Houston was just a little out of my reach this week. Bowling Green, St. Louis, Charlotte, New Orleans are all good options going forward.

Mid America Motorplex, its got a road course and drag strip, plus big enough parking lots for autocross. 20 minutes outside of Omaha, NE. Fairly centrally located, not too expensive being its in the midwest, I think it would be great.

As nice as it would be to have in Memphis, I don't think there is enough room at the track for everything, especially if the turn out is like it was this year.

Where ever it is I think holding it while kids are out of school will help attendance. June - early August. The more central the location the better, obviously. The closer you can get to the center of all the lights the greater the population you will draw from.
