I wouldnt have a problem with going a few minutes early Darqueling. I will more than likely not be able to stay for food after though because it is my birthday that day and i will have other things to do later in the day and dont wanna fill myself or my schedule up since there will be other things i have to do.

there's:

Hooter's
Cheese Cake Factory
Panera Bread (lots of parking space)
Reb lobster (where we are meeting)
Diners
Chillies
PizzaHut
Famous Daves (AWSOME FOOD) (usually crowded, maybe not on the 31st)
ETC....

It would also help to know how many people plan on staying to eat so that we can give the suspecting resturant a heads up. Can we put up a poll on how many would stay and eat? I can go to the locations and inform them of how many we have planned coming to see if they can support us.

Let me know guys or post it up thanks!

Hi - unsure if SirBrad (as the originator of this thread) can amend it with a poll - he'll need to try "edit" to see if it gives him an option - if not then a new thread will need to be created with the poll data in it - that's what I did for the first meet options back in Sept.

Sounds good Sticker, I figure get there like 15 minutes early is plenty just to make sure the space is open and to do anything that needs to be done, you can also help me out with getting my stuff assembled (you'll find out what I mean). As for places to eat, all are pretty much fine, can't do seafood though, so that's my only exception. Personally Famous Daves would strike my fancy, get me that southern sweet tea that I've been missing since moving to the North. We can figure it out the day of, but if we do we need to call and make a reservation as soon as we do. This time we should try and get a group shot of everyone, or atleast a shot of everyone with their car. Hopefully someone has an SLR or something more powerful than a standard point and shoot.

Another thing to address is the weather. Are we doing this rain or shine? Chances are it will be sunny, but just in case what are the backup plans?

I guess I'll get a poll going in a week or two. Dave's sounds tasty to me and I've never been there or heard of it.

More/better pictures should be in order. With the costumes, I think we should make it to the front page here.

As far as the weather, I think we'll do what we did last time - if you're unsure if it's still on, check this thread on the morning of the meet. It will be canceled before a certain time - probably 8:00 A.M. I don't think this would work out too great in the rain.

Sinbrad,

I agree rain is not a good idea , my baby hates the rain and in a costume would kind of suck. But we will pry for Sun. Famous daves is an awsome bbq spot, great food.

Probably wont be too hard for you to top mine. As for SirBrad, nice way to facebook stalk me, no worries, that's what facebook is for. Have to let me know your idea. And I saw your post about your WS predictions, and I totally approve!

I like Red Lobster and Olive Garden is right around the corner.
Famous Dave's has fantastic ribs!!
I looked at a map because I was thinking it would be hard to get a whole group of car from the Mall to Dave's without going out to 295 and back down 70. As it turns out there is a back entrance to Dave's through the parking lot of the store that used to be I.Goldberg off of Kings highway.
So I vote for Dave's too.
As for costumes we are going as proud owners of a 2010 Camaro!
I know...probably be a lot of people there with the same costume.

I was thinking having a few different cruises.. since we are all coming from different areas... maybe even cruise to meet the other routes somewhere close and we all cruise together to the meeting place? It may be too difficult to do... but worth a try to suggest

How long was the last meetup?? I'm trying to see if I will be able to stay for lunch.

I think the first meet lasted between about 11:45 and I'm going to guess 1:15-1:30 before we headed to Cheesecake Factory.

P.S. lunch was the best part getting to hang with everyone. A really cool and nice group of people.

I am not gonna give up what it is that easily. My hint is that it is a fictional character and the main protagonist from on of the best selling multifaceted & cross-media series. I'm sure that is no help at all.

It is rather easy to get into there from the Mall, just gotta make the U-Turn on 70 and you are good to go. You are probably right, I bet only like 5 of us will go in costume, but it wouldn't be fun if we didn't. Gotta have some fun, and that way it saves the trouble of having to go back home to change if you are going out to a party/bar after. I may wear mine at work on Friday, I'm sure that will go over well at TechRep.

Best bet is to just up and post saying anyone from such and such area, I am meeting here at this time to cruise up let me know who wants to join me. That's what we ended up doing the first time and it worked, I just don't know how many people are in your area or along the route. As for time frame, Brad covered it, usually meet up between 12-12:30 and went to probably 2 or 3 at the absolute latest. I think I managed to get home around 3:30 and Freehold was about an hour away. So I would say that we are done by early afternoon if you have other plans or events going on.

Learn to Multi-Quote SirBrad. And my Cardinals better get their act together or I may be forced to root for the Phillies...

All those quotes maker me dizzy Darq.

I'd have to say the Cardinals are done. I don't know how you can root for the Phillies though.

I thought I had a nice costume idea but now my girlfriend thinks we should dress up as something together. What the hell is up with that?
