theres supposed to be some new hoods coming out this month from a few companies. if i can get the pics from them, ill post them up.

This is from SLP

The ZL hood is actually exclusive for the ZL package cars only and is not available to the public, however we did design a hood similar and I believe a little more aggressive that you can buy. Here is the link http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=100035 retail is $1,095. Thanks, Don

yes, i know i have talked to them also. they told me it was exclusive to the zl cars too, yet i also have been quoted a price from a slp rep. that slp forwarded me to. so they either need to stay with the exclusivity thing or they need to sell it to anyone. but right now im hearing 2 stories from slp.

Yes it is theirs with a coat of Kandy over top.

Do you know of a hood (other then the Callaway hood) with a window in it like the ZR1.

I like that orange Kandy colour. I'm currently planning of getting the Seibon bumble bee hood hood, ST trunk and gfx in CF and have the hood painted to have exposed grey carbon racing stripes. I would REALLY like to do this with a window hood.

I'm planning on a IOM car and interior and try to get some orange CF interior trim pieces. I also plan on the Savini SV2 with the CF lip.

I'm wondering what this would look like with the grey CF being coloured orange. too much? Just stick with grey CF?

anyones thoughts? I don't want to be 'ricey' and I think the orange CF may over step that line.

Rick H aka Callaway is the only shown company with an open window.
Hennessey is said to come out with one for there Zr1 car but I have not seen it yet.

Carbon Fiber can be done in Orange pretty easy with Kevlar but you will not get a hood that way since 99% are done with CF and or mix of Carbon and Fiberglass. You will have to paint the hood with some Kandy or Colored tint.

really? seibon does make it. that hood was painted. all 3 pics, all the same hood.
