Sorry -- but if you were doing donuts -- and the last time I looked there was no REASON to be doing donuts -- with a car you don't own - then you need to fess up.

The 'Father has spoken.....

Vinnysrt8, if you do not disclose the "fun" you had with the rental agency, there will be many black Suburbans dispatched to your house. They will find you. They know where you live.

Some of us are honest and have a conscience. We feel a sense of responsibility when we rent a car and don't think it's ok to just beat on it. We're the ones in our society who keep it a safe and civilized place to live.

In my opinion, people with your attitude need a serious dose of personal responsibility. The rest of us put others (and their things) before ourselves...and we are happier for it.

Just my two cents...

I'm sure you guys are all angels and have never beat on anyone elses car.
I'm no angel...(have many faults and have not been to church in a long, long, long time).

I've never beaten on anyone else's car (including rentals).

I return things the way I received them...I have respect for the property of others and hope others have respect for mine.

Seriously people...

This younger generation has such an "entitlement mentality." I'm a 47 year-old man and it makes my heart hurt to read some of these posts. I'm bringing up two kids into this world. They see things through my eyes right now and have my ethics and morals. Eventually, they will see the world through their own eyes. I hope they can grow up in a world that won't corrupt them and turn them into the types of folks who are posting on this site that it's ok for the OP (or anyone else) to try to get out of paying for damage they caused by their own irresponsible behavior.

Really? In what universe does than make sense? Help me out here--cuz I don't get it...

No...they wouldn't....

Some of us have enough life experience to know that as you get older, you begin to reflect on your life. At some point, what other people think about you starts to matter less and less, and what you think of yourself becomes more important.

All of us have made stupid mistakes...most of us grow up, realize it, and stop being someone to be ashamed of. It's not about being "holier than thou." It's about being human...in the best sense of the word.

Yes they do. Its called LIABILITY insurance. You are responsible for someone elses property...liability. Doesn't apply to your car persay...only a third party.
