How is it that one some graphs the horsepower and torque intersect at 5252 as they should and on others they intersect at a much lower rpm? As we all know, horsepower is derived from torque and thus (Torque x Engine speed) / 5,252 = Horsepower

I can feel your pain with trying to get that kind of power down to the ground. That much torque overwhelms the tires in any gear.

The scales are different between the hp and tq on the one graph. See on the left and on the right the numbers are different.

Saw this on Twitter - very proud of you, Andy! I let @GMTexas know about this great development. Remember Donna? She's now part of your Camaro crew. I'm trying to get her to take her new wheels to ADM for an inaugural dyno run. I still have my finger on the pulse! Keep doing what you do. //Adam

Looks like forced scaling was turned off,I will look into it on monday.

Thanks for bringing that up.

Pistons certainly do come in different compression ratio's. Flat top pistons, dome pistons, dish pistons and of course different height pistons.

By the way, nice job on this camaro!!!

Your right, but compression is derived from many more factors than just dome, dish, height or flattop.

Thanks for the thumbs up

Andy

WOW, just freakin WOW.

I just with I had pockets that were fat enough to pay Andy to do this to mine. :(

With a beast like that, you can go hunting on just about whatever you want to......... ponies, snakes, shelbys, even vettes and the mighty ZR-1.

ohhhh, let me dream for a minute..... .......

Great job Andy !!!!!

Very true, but remember, there are also more than a few ponies, snakes, shelbys and vettes making, or capable of making, similar numbers.

This is, indeed, a very impressive build, and I am very interested to see what kind of drivetrain/suspension changes will need to be made to effectively support that kind of power.
