That's a ProClip mount. You need 2 pieces from them. The part that clips to the car and then the other piece that is GPS specific. They're a bit expensive, but well worth it. I added the link to my first post in this thread.

My headers and exhaust are now in! I am having the headers coated with ceramic to help keep the heat out of the engine bay. The shop suggested that if I plan to do a supercharger someday that it would be good to coat the headers. Damn you Hrpiii!!

The coating shop will have the headers ready by Monday and I'm on the schedule to have the headers/exhaust/dynotune done on Tueday May 11. I told them I want to be there for the dyno time to take video of it. Woo hoo!

I think I'm going to have my brake calipers powder coated. The question is this: Would black or red calipers look better on my CGM car? Here are a couple of pics:

I'd go with the black ones because the red ones would stand out from the rims and if I remember right you don't have any red on your car except your plates.

I'm so excited! I talked to Brandon at IPS Motorsports today. My headers have been coated and are back at IPS. I'm all set to have the Kooks LT catted headers, Borla Touring exhaust, and dynotune done tomorrow. I drop the car off at 9 a.m. I'll go back later in the afternoon when they have the car on the dyno. I have the batteries in the video camera all charged up and Brandon said they'd do most of the tuning early in the afternoon, but that they'd save a couple of the final WOT runs for when I get back to the shop in the afternoon.

I'm a bit nervous about making such a big change to my car, but I'm also excited to have the extra HP and a little more sound. Wish me luck!

Darth_Emma I freaking love your Camaro. Some day I'm going to come back to this thread and steel some ideas. Right now I just need to make a few payments on the car before I go too crazy. Something tells me that would make my wife happier right now.

Well, I didn't get my car back today. IPS said that my car is so new that they didn't have the right version of the software for it. So, they sent my OEM software to the tuning company for them to tweak it. They'll then send it back to IPS and they can then tune my car. I'm not sure how long it will take.

The did say that the headers and exhaust are on the car and it sounds good.

Edit: IPS called me this evening. They got the software update they needed and will load it on my car tomorrow. They said they'd do the last dyno run late in the day tomorrow so I can be there to record video after I get out of work.

Headers and exhaust are done! Dynotune completed at IPS Motorsports. I took videos of a couple of runs on the dyno. I am still giggling over it. I got EXACTLY the results I was hoping for. The car now has a significantly more throaty idle and it roars under throttle. However, at highway speeds it is still nice and quiet. No annoying drone. The car is also much quicker than before. A huge success all the way around.

My understanding from reading the L99 dyno thread is that most stock L99 cars are at about 310 rwhp. Mine was at 362 rwhp and 371.3 torque after the tune.

IPS Motorsports did a great job. I love those guys!

Dyno results:

Videos of the dyno runs. I was a bit too close to the fan in the first video, so the mic picked up the fan noise somewhat. I think the audio is better in the second one.
