I dont know why I said that and, but the rest of my statement was fact. So I'm not sure how it's speculation unless you were refering to the first part? And I dont need to read your mind to know the reason that MOST dont like him including yourself.

Nice camarostang, but I'm diehard chevy. Who wants their camaro to look like a mustang? The widened lower grille isn't bad. The hood would look better on a mustang. The BOSS stripes and Saleen are just as out of place on a Camaro as a big blue oval badge. Is the 2010 camaro beating the crap out of the aftermarket mustang market too?

It's amazing how much most of this thread looks like 8 year olds fighting over who's daddys car is better. You don't like him, then you don't like him. That should be the end of it. This is a discussion on a car designed by SMS, not Steve himself. What have you guys contributed to the Camaro community, other than complaining?

Clearly I was referring to the first part.

Any knucklehead can see our animosity is due to his unprofessional comments

If you are trying to develop a customer base you should not insult them.... At least not in public....

He will continue to be measured by his last response on this matter...

Of which I feel is immature and unprofessional.

I like the front end..don't like the hood..but the wheels are really cool. I'd buy the wheels.

I find it funny that he trashes the Camaro one year, realizes what an idiot he is and changes the name of his company to make a buck off the car he's been trashing. i dont see how comparing companies ='s comparing daddy's car

So let me get this right, we dont like his attitude or comments towards the camaro community, but since its SMS not Steve himself designing the car we are supposed to support it? News flash he owns SMS!

What have the people here contributed to the community?
#1 they are the camaro community, they paid their hard earned money to be.
#2 they provide a wealth of information, ie. steves awesome mustang gathering video and saleen bankruptcy info, so that someone new to the community can easily find this info if they are considering this dbags company (SMS) conversion.

You can spin it however you want.

Bottom line is he, Steve Saleen, was talking smack about a product that he was able to be associated with. Then he decided to be an 8 year old child and insult the product he worked on....

As such, he showed us where his heart truly lies. Now he looks dumb. Maybe it should be enough that he decided to build Camaros in spite of his previous comments..... Maybe that should be the ultimate apology...

If SMS chooses to be a participating member here they will be given the same accommodations as any other vendor...

It seems awfully shallow that he's building kits for a car that seemed so unworthy built by a company that is so inferior.

He'll make plenty of money on his cars, I'm sure he knows that... But he's made no effort to embrace the Camaro community... When he does I will change my tune.

And one more thing. Be a little more careful about taking shots at other members here, whether it be specifically or generally.

Your point will be much more well received if you do.
