Airaid V2 is suppose to be better than V1. Hope so anyway. But the Injen CAI has shown repeatably that it is the best CAI for the V6.

Got my InJen today bought through autoanything and boy was this and interesting deal. autoanything was great with the discounts but it took 2 weeks to get it and then on the day ups posted it for delivery the truck broke down ! took a haft a day off for nothing ! then got it today and guess what? as i read on the site here i had a bad fitting gasket on the washer bottle where the pump pushes in . hole was drilled to big . called injen and was told i was the 4 th person to call sense friday . now back to aoutoanything and another week to send mine back and injen to send me another .

Well I'll be at least the 5th then. Got mine this afternoon, installed it this evening, and the grommet hole was way too big on mine as well. So I'm running without washer fluid at the moment.

I'm also not 100% pleased with the fitment. No matter how I twisted it, it never would line up exactly right. I guess it will work the way it is, but I would have hoped it would line up a little better. Plus the tube is too close to the frame for my liking. I can see it rattling up against the frame.

But I am pleased with how it woke up the exhaust.

I didn't want to risk the Injen tube rattling on the frame, so I used the old 90 degree rubber hose that was removed to install the Injen hose and wedged it in between the frame and tube. This kept the Injen tube from moving as much.

Had the same issue with the fitment, what I did to keep it from hitting the frame is this, loosen up the lower mount nut and then the tube clamp to the pipe, rotate the bottom toward the front so the pipe rotates, then tighten the hose clamp then lower mount.

X2 it added a good .5 inch of clearance.
