Just a carbon fiber vinyl stripe...I wish they were carbon fiber!

I think the concept had an honest to god cf hood, but the srt magnums/300s/charger all had aluminum hoods, maybe even the rt's and v6's, not entirely sure. So I would think the challengers have an aluminum hood too....the cf stripe is some kind of lame ass attempt to keep the masses happy when they wanted to see the cf hoods on the challengers. oh well, hopefully I can pull off any stripes that are on whatever one I buy

The hoods on all three Challenger trims are the same. Aluminum with hood scoop ducts, only the SRT's come with louvers installed from the factory to make them functional tho.

i dont know about that.....99% of cars dont come with cf why would the challenger do it? it is a simple fix.....but a cf hood and paint it except for where the stripes go.....bingo solves your problem.

If you order...instead of buying off the lot...you can do the stripe delete.

Or, just have the stripe removed after you buy. It's look great with the stripe on there to me and the wife. Don't like that it's vinyl meant to look like carbon fiber but I felt the same way about my Camaro's stripe. Lame looking...more so because it was flat black.

Camaro has no stripe now...Challenger...we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm on a budget, so a brand new srt8 challenger is out of my range, but a lightly used is obtainable, and if I get one with the cf stripe, I'll remove it. Rather try a different color stripe for that unique mod

before this picture, I quite honestly hated the orange color, but I think it's actually just the black trim around the base and the cf stripes on the hood....I LOVE the look of this car MINUS the 24" rims, as it's my daily, I would stay with 20" rims, maybe foose nitrous with the grey centers....24's are just a bit too damn much for me
