Back to the original topic:
I think if GM was going to partner with anyone, it should be Apple. Apple is already a proven seller. For GM and Apple to partner together and come up with some kind of voice activated media system for GM vehicles would be exactly what GM needs to catapult itself into the 21st century. Sure they made a great start with the Camaro, but technology wise, they've got a lot of catching up to do. |

The funny thing about GM needed to catch up is they have a lot of projects that make any new car just look silly. They havent made any of these new tech into todays cars yet. Just google GM skate board and tell me if you still think they are behind. They are leading the way in new development and have a great design intership for up and coming car designers. To me i really dont need a super tech camaro. If they can take all this new tech and build better engines with better mpg so in 2016 the CAFE doesnt kill the V8 would be great. I know ford did a great job on the new 5.0 and will love to see what other ne things are in the making for both companys.

I work for Apple and GM already kinda works with them in a way? If you have the information booklet about the camaro that you get at the dealership there is a picture of an iPod touch and GM had to get permission from Apple to use it lol :p It would be really awsome to see Apple work with Gm sense Microsoft works with Ford. We could call em the iMaro!

I could only imagine how much apple would want and customers would have to pay for that option.

Apple TV isn't exactly setting the world on fire either... everything they touch does not turn to gold. I for one hope to God GM never collaborates with Apple on anything for the Camaro (or in general). Their products are nice, they have slick and smooth interfaces, and they work very well. But I don't like to be told by a device I purchased what I can and can't do, I also don't like to have to buy an "app" to do everything, especially things that any PC or other device have built in. I'm sure that if they did create a car/nav interface it would work great, but it would have certain cripples built in that either force you to upgrade in the future, or compromise on what you want out of the device. The iPad is the biggest example of this.
