Hey guys FYI - I just tried tomake my reservation and the front desk could not find the UpstateC5 club rate. It may take a week or so for this special price reservation list to make it to the front desk. Being Sunday night the reservation desk was closed, sending me to the front desk.

Just talked to the Hotel and was told the front desk should have the rate info. They had extra people working this weekend and possibly fell through the cracks due to that. Again, make sure you tell them that you want the UpstateC5 group rate. Also, when reserving, specifically tell them that you just want to use the credit card to hold the room, not be billed for it until you arrive. Otherwise your card may get billed the way Expedia does. Any issues PM me.

And, remember to PM me with your first and last name when you make your reservation so we can keep track of rooms and of who all is going.

This is just starting to gets around. The American Camaro Assoc.(ACA) which has put on the Camaro Nationals at Carlisle the past few years, has opted to move the event to Frederick, MD during the same weekend next year, and place in the hands of the Maryland Camaro Club.

This kind of throws a monkey wrench into our plans. Go to Carlisle anyway or go to a new endeavor. I think the old school purists will probably move, but might be a good chance for 5th gens to be recognized at a bigger GM event. I'm for Carlisle at this point. Post your thoughts.

I've never been to Carlisle before and have always wanted to go. Looking at the Carslile site it looks like a great time. As for my decision as to which event I will go to, Maryland or Carlisle, I would like to go as the club votes. So, I will wait a little to make the reservation (a week or two).
