Installed my Vitesse Throttle Controller! This ride Flies now! First Mod too and now I'm glad I stuck with my V6, and didn't buy into the V8. Super satisfied!

Borla s-type cat-back 2.5 pipes & Solo High flow Cat/resonator on their way this week too

Hey I keep reading about people adding this, how much is it, how it it hooked up and what exactly is the benefit? Oh and what about affecting your warranty? Thanks.

Its $179 plus shipping. here is the direct link
http://www.vitesse-motorsports.com/t...ontrollers.htm

it basically plugs "inbetween" a connection near your gas pedal. super easy. I know there is a thread in here with pics and video, but I just followed instruction page that comes with box.

as far as benefits, it releases the HP's that the ECU is programmed "Hold Back" so we don't go break our cars and get into wrecks. Also we can go have fun for a little on the track or spin tires in empty parking lots. PLUS, you can set it to a super economy setting (Ec7) and probably end up with 30+mpg on HWY.(haven't tried this yet) So, you can turn it ON & OFF at your convenience. With an SS, you are always ON. (not hating, but for me, I'm getting my V8 kicks out of my V6 )

Its literally plug-n-play. And Im personally not seeing any warranty issues indicated by this device. here is another link to a thread that may enlighten some thoughts on the warranty.

Highly recommended! Release those ponies!

My avatar is of my 2014 V6 convertible that I traded in for the SS. I lost my custom painted hood because the new car has a vent in the center along with the double stripes in black. I also didn't realize the raised cowl on the hood was a lot wider than the cowl on the V6. Oh well, I'm sure I will customize this hood soon enough. Lol.

The parts I ordered are:
Borla Exhaust Systems (from Autoanything.com)
Cat Back Exhaust - S Type Series
2014 Chevy Camaro (SS)
Part #: 140530
$1062.15

&

Solo Performance LFX V6 High Flow Catalytic Converters #C23926-C23925 (From Phastek.com)
SP-CAMARO-V6-HIGH-FLOW-CAT :: 2012-2015 Camaro V6/LS/LT 1
$698.00

I wanted to maintain 2.5" piping from the High Flow Cat, all the way to the rear mufflers/tips. And Borla doesn't make the S-type catback for our V6's. Borla does however make Touring catback for our V6's, but I think its $150 more, and also drops to 2.25" piping to the tips (correct me if im wrong)

there will probably be some "Customization" going on for the piping install, but I got a quote for the entire install from Midas. They said total labor, $230.00 (2-3hr install, my guess...)

So complete parts-n-labor, total will be just over $2,000.
Warranty, it will be completely "bolt on" from High Flow Cat. so it wont effect it. (according to my local shop sources, and internet searching) Plus I will be keeping the factory stuff.

Benefits, should produce about 10 more HP if im lucky, but will definitely make my V6 sound worlds better!

Just emptied mine the other day as well. I have the E2 and it was about an inch off the bottom. Great product..

Nothing, it's to damn cold so I gave her a quick look and went inside. In a few weeks will be purchasing the upgrades for her.
