12.8 isn't beast to me. My Challenger with just cat back, CAI, and a tune 400RWHP goes 12.8 all day or GY f1's. PQ's car with just under 500RWHP will kill that Challenger.

It's all good . I'm pretty sure your tuner in Jville could work out your minor issues, and I know just getting to him is a PITA (although the "The Landings?" in Jville used to be fun when we would road trip down there in college). I'm very pleased with my MTI Racing Tune, just need a few days of dry weather to push it a little bit.

I love this thing. Still runs strong as ever, and is a real handful in the cold air.
Thanks man. Quote:
I get grief from my Challenger buddies about the 12.8 ET in this car, but they never mention the 118 trap speed I was trying to run low 12s on street tires, but the Invos just can't handle 600ft/lbs of torque from a manual tranny. PQ, Lemme know if you need any help with the gauges or anything. Happy to help you out. |

I got to looking around really hard yesterday trying to see if I could see anything. Mainly with the pulley squeaky noise I was hearing. I noticed the AC/Drive pulley belt (lower belt) was a little off the pulley towrad the front of the pulley. It's a slotted belt and so it stayed on just fine but was one slot off the proper seating. I actually tried to bump it over with a smooth bar becaue it's so tight and the slots are deep. Couldn't hurt. Well, as I feared, it came all the way off. Which was fine, I put it back on no problem the correct way. Didn't squeak this morning so hopefully that was it.
The missing at idle SEEMS to be better. But I don't see how that could cause it. |

If it's missing at idle and giving you issues in reverse, there is a tune problem that needs to be addressed. It could eventually cause a CEL.
Get some gauges in there and lets see what we see. Here's an example of what the Interceptor looks like. They have custom face colors and logos (SS for example). Here mine's showing fuel pressure and timing at idle. |
