Didn't expect to find another Peck person here. Until a couple of months ago, I lived outside of Peck. Come to think of it, that's not difficult to do...

I have to get tags here in KS. I have 20% tint...Am I going to fail inspection?

I would say no. I have a friend with 10% and no one has ever said anything to him. The inspection in KS is very minimal.. basically just check to match the VIN. It's a 2-3 minute drive-thru process.

They never even looked at the tint on my Beretta when I moved here and it was 20%. They just verified the VIN # & mileage and I was out. It isn't a mechanical inspection or anything.

Typically Kansas cops are relatively lenient, I'd watch out for State Troopers though. They seem to be a little tougher when it comes to the nitpicky laws.

Nice weather is just around the corner.
Time for some good ole camaro meet & greets again!

Now is the time to start brain storming ideas and see what we can do :P

It is starting to feel like spring... I am looking forward to shedding the winter tires and putting the new rims back on after the car bets out of the shop.

Anyone in the Wichita area have any good locations for photo shoots...
I'm paying a hefty chunk come April for a photoshoot of the car and I've been trying to find good backdrops / locations.

Ject, the only place I like to shoot is in Old Town! I have shot MC's and some cars down there. The Brick buildings bring a nice texture to the photos. If you setup on Sunday mornings like I do, within an hour of sunrise for best color and light, there is hardly anyone down there. If I can remember any more I'll post here or message you.

I took most of mine in Old Town and at the old train station (the pic in my signature). There are some good locations in the Riverside area as well. I am planning on taking some more this spring in the same places, and maybe finding a few more places.

Hey everyone,
Checking in here for the first time. I'm from Wichita. Looks like I'm in the right place. This is a great forum, glad I found it. I ordered my new Camaro on 12/28/10 and brought it home on 2/11/11. It's a Silver 2SS, LS3 and no other options. Since the weather has straightened up about 2 weeks ago I've been driving it everyday trying to get everything broke in. My wife and I love it. Have about 875 miles on it so far. It's so much fun to drive I had to make myself stop driving it today so I could wash it. It's already been introduced to Kansas hail too, (drove it to work last Sunday and couldn't leave to move it, no damage though, only pea size this time!) so I guess it's getting the "official" Kansas break in treatment. Got to be tough to live outside in Kansas! Anyway, I look forward to joining in with you guys. Hope to see you out on the streets!
