Wow... it sort of makes you wonder. I guess the minute my train reports "empty," I'll be driving by the dealer every day to see if it's there so I can let them know my car is in!!!!

i dont get if he's just clueless or some shady things going on...
i read that a dealer asked one of the guys if he could keep the car to show to customers for about a week... this being said, the same dealer has a bumblebee type camaro parked at the back of the dealership for about a week ...
just to show things are so shady with some of these dealers.

my car just pulled out of Louisville headed to Nashville...maybe Wednesday or Thursday pickup

Man, I am impressed your wife kept it together so well. I would have lost it well before she did.

iv made it to kansas. come on CALI!!!!!! dealer says eta of thursday.. but the phone doesnt say an eta. is he BS'ing? how would he know?

should make it by then, took mine 3 days from kansas to mira loma which should be where yours is going too.

hopefully the updates will show lots of movement tomorrow as the plant gets back up and everything gets back to normal. After some of the remarks about dealers not knowing what is on their lots and others with extra miles on the vehicles-kind of wonder if you should not check out the lots everyday yourself?

Hey n-shane, I think we are on the same train car. This morning UP says ETA to Mira Loma is 1:30am on 10/15. Then it is just a matter of getting it on a truck for delivery to the dealer. This is a good update, since on Saturday, they were saying ETA of 10/19. Of course, it also makes me wonder if they are using a random number generator.

Mine is finally in the same state of my dealer. I'll be going home on leave next week to pick her up! Right now I'm trying to think of a good name for it...Not sure yet...Oh and I got approved on a loan today too!

This getting closer deal is definitely cool. it is going to get me through a long week of work, but then if it doesn't come until next week it is going to be a long weekend. Good thing I have a bachelor party to keep me occupied if it doesn't come.

Just checked with CSX and the update is railcar empty as of this morning. Since I'm only about 3 hours from Janesville, Wi I'm hoping the car shows up today or tomorrow at the latest.
