Here's the response from Vararam from a email correspondence from last winter:

Working on the prototype now - hope to have ready by spring!


While Vararam does good work, they're not good a ETA's.

Old post, but we drive cycled the cars until the vehicle's fuel trims were stable so there was no discrepancies.

Crap....getting all buy happy...CAI intake is looking reaaally good. Why don't I have any self control or patience? :( I'm guessing these changes mean more data logging again and more dyno's? Which means at least another month or so? Craaaap...I think I'm going to put a hold on my checking account so I don't buy something else.

Ok so what's up with people just posting up "I'm taking X spot" and doing it themselves??? Is this really how this thing is running? I posted last week that I wanted in on this, yet it seems like the list is a bit informal and just because I wasn't online to claim an open spot today, my post last week didn't really mean anything as far as actually getting in on this.

The list has always been a informal list and has worked out. Only like one issue popped up before. But the list started off as a joke, but when VR seen it they honored it for the first 40 members. They will probably get the updated one when they pop back up. They only doing the first 12 of us like they did 2 weeks ago with the first batch that didn't ship lol. But maybe more or less than that when they done who know's

Then go ahead and take the 14th spot. It doesn't really matter to me. Once released, i'll get one no matter what.
