I ported and polished my edelbrock on my 350 and my lower end improved greatly and I never noticed any drop in power on the top end. I actually gained .02 on the track afterwards. You should run some times before and after to see what you do gain or take it to a dyno for some real time numbers.

I have not heard of a company making aftermarket intakes for our cars, has anyone else?

I wish I had the ability because I can see making a way better intake just off the top of my head.

I am really surprised edelbrock or another company has not yet. The earnings potential is there for it.

He meant the manifold, not a cold air intake.

They had one for the V8 first and only recently made one for the LLT.

Did you notice any HP gains or difference in sound?

I only have one trip to the strip so far, but, it's looking like 0.2-0.3 seconds off of my quarter time and a 2-3 MPH increase in my trap speed.
A dyno pull, just for grins, is coming up, but, I have no base line. I can't tell a difference in sound except for the "thump" when I go WOT. I have been told that it sounds deeper. FYI, I have an MRT 2 axle-back. |

Thats pretty impressive for a air intake. I just wonder if it improves the gas mileage any since it breaths better now.
