Did you back it up with something close? Given your previous bolt-on best (11.8), your gains are believeable with a better DA.

I was running in 0 DA with my cammed bolt-on car and ran:
11.633 @ 118.01, 1.605 sixty
1/8th: 7.434 @ 94.56


Mine's an A6 your's an M6, my sixty is .2 better, everything else is the same. Great shifting?

Either way, pretty impressive.

Here's my crappy IPhone video of the pass... It's not like he came from no where on this one as he was previously #3 on the list. IT IS LEGIT...

Seems like everytime he hits the track the prep is horrible or conditions were bad. We have known the car had this in it for a long time, which is one reason he hasn't added a cam or internals yet. Even on this night the conditions deteriorated late and Matt didn't get a second run in. The dew set in and cleanups delayed racing too much. Along with a ton of cars lined up

With that 60' theres a better time coming... Stay tuned...

Like I said, I think it's mainly great driving. Shows you what an M6 can do when driven like a bat out of hell. That launch was brutal!

Thanks guys!

I run a stock throttle body ported by Advanced Racing Dynamics here in Houston. Also have an SLP underdrive pulley

I cant go into furhter details on the tune but it was dyno tuned on a Dynojet 224x

The car puts down 428 hp and 429 tq to the wheels. Running 93 octane from a Valero gas station. I had to drive about 30 miles to the track and by the time I got there my low fuel came on. I made that pass with the gas needle just right above the E line.

This Friday I hope to back it up with a close time or quicker. As Mike mentioned it was horrible track prep and the dew delayed for hours.

He beat my cam'd car at the TX Camaro nationals for 1st place and then drove someone else's M6 car in a different category and took 1st there too. Matt is a beast with the M6..
