Dynoed last saturday. 339 rwhp. Showed issues with fuel rate / mix. Just remembered about fuse pull to reset (waiting for time to expire now..lol). Will let ya know how it does. Good recheck for those heading to C5fest II prior to track time! Need to back PQ up on the road course!

Cheapest mod there is.

Super Charger = 8000.00 installed.

Cam = 1400.00 installed

NOS system = 800.00 installed

Fuse Pull = FREE

I had the dealer flash the computer when I had my exhaust issue fixed the other day, and I honestly think that it is worse than when I was just doing fuse pulls. I think it is time to get a custom tune done to remove the AFM, and more.

I ended up going with a custom Tune after I installed my headers and exhaust. Then of course threw the blower on and needless to say my fuse pull days are WAY behind me.

That is the eventual plan. Still working on the order of things I want to do to the car.

But all the info is right here.

I agree. It is all a matter of economics and what I want out of the car. I see some people on here who make your mouth water with their cars until you realize that they have invested as much as the thing cost from the factory just in upgrades.

One of my friends has a Camaro 2SS/RS as well as me but he has always put 87gas in since he bought it.. If he wanted to do the fuse pull what would he need to do? just wait till he runs out of gas with 87 and fill up with 93 then pull the fuses and keep filling up with 93 after that?

Yep. It's supposed to be as easy as that from what other members have told me. I'm waiting to get rid of my 87 octane the dealer filled it with - then fill with the highest octane I can find (only 90 in Alaska so far) - drive home - pull the fuses - and reinsert them the next a.m.

Is putting the 87 in the reason people have been posting threads about a clicking/knocking noise?

Dunno specifically about that - but in my experience, low octane or "bad gas" can cause knocking or pinging noises, so I only use supreme in all my rides.

Search the thread here for key words like Knocking/pinging or clicking

Best practice:
  1. Run tank as low as possible without running out of gas
  2. Fill up with 93
  3. Pull fuse
  4. Run tank low again
  5. Fill up with 93
  6. Pull fuse
  7. Never use <93 again
