Took the Camaro out for a spin. I bought it five years ago today and thought I'd better start putting some miles on it (7,600 miles, not a DD). Surprisingly, the OEM battery is still holding up.

Took her out of the garage after 4 days of pissy rain. Vacuumed, and detailed a little between the cracks and corners. It's going to rain in 3 days, but what the hell!

Technically today (worked on it until 4 am) installed coilovers, 1LE rear bar and toe links, and 20x10.5 Forgestars with 295/30 Pilot Super Sports. Getting an alignment now.

Just finished installing my Cold Air Inductions CAI. Looks great and had a harder time taking the old one off than putting the new one on.

I changed the oil and filter, wow, it actually wasnt that big of a deal. car has 11.5K on it, everything is nice and dry underneath.
I have been whining about a couple drops of oil on the garage floor since the car had 10k on it, figured it was the known issue with either the porous block or oil pan or oil cooler, but imagine my surprise when I jack it up and find out its dripping from the oil filter. So, I dont know if thats where the factory problematic leaks come from,but I cleaned it all up and crossing fingers.... all in all, a very easy job. Oh yeah, it was 80 today and not a cloud in the sky, so I took it out and drove it for a while, big smile on my face driving it finally after all the rain this week. |

installed a VMAXX TB from Tampa Tuning in person. We made the exchange at a hotel's driveway from the back of a mini van. Just looked so suspect!!! Wish I had a video.

Took it for a run up Palomar Mountain and had a blast. After 400 miles with the LTs and no tune the check engine light came on.

Changed the reverse light to some 893 fog light bulbs i had lying around. insanely bright. Now i can see when i back up. Took a quick pic of the light output. That is only 1 on. Hard to get a good pic of lights at night. Please excuse the garage, in the middle of spring cleanup.
