I know some of you are in a hurry to get this intake. I'm number 11 on this list and am willing to trade spots with someone further down the list if they want to try and get theirs sooner. Just post the swap with the updated list reflecting the trade, I don't care about timeliness I just want to make sure I can get in on this group buy.

Regards,

Chad

Found this in an older post by Vararam......

"The Vararam Ram Air systems for both LS-3 V8 and V-6 2010 Camaros are on the way!

( the V-6 unit is ready, it "IS" The Pontiac G8 system)

This unit is a proven winner in all aspects, take a look at the GRRRR8.net board and see what they have to say about it.

The V-6 system was designed to support 500 cu/inch and 700hp! (the system was originaly designed to support the LS-3 2010 Camaro)"

..and now they are making one just for the V6.

Some of you need to go outside every once in awhile. Sitting for hours on end trying to find old posts is not healthy. lol

Was hoping I would have had this for my laps out at Indianapolis Motor Speedway opening day two weeks ago. Now, I get to drive around the track again this Saturday for the Camaro/Corvette Owners Appreciation Day and dinner and still no Vararam. :(
I so thought this was a done deal but I'll hold out for it whenever its released. Just wish for some sort of update on where we ALL stand on this one.

how you like the cai inc intake? do you feel any noticeable hp gain or is it just mostly sound? My car is begging for colder air in this 85 degree weather we are getting. Injen or cai inc sound very very tempting right now.
Goshh... I hate waiting

Won't get it till next week, but I will be sure to let you know. A couple of camaro owners here in Texas swear by them and other than the injen they were second place on the Janetty study, not by much either. I just can't do the Injen with the risk of water getting up in there.....I know, I know!!!...I'm being paranoid about it, but even Injen's own website says there is a risk of it and I am not a gambler. Eventually when I get away from this damn gravel parking lot I'm going to add the ADM scoop as well.

Injen + hydroshield + catch can = . That's my new set up. Found one used. It's not the VR I've been waiting for, but I'll be happy. Plus it's loud, which I like.

I had an Injen on my old Cobalt SS. I never had a problem with water, and I didn't even put a hydro-shield on it. The car was lowered too. Unless you're driving through some pretty massive pools of water, you shouldn't have a problem with it. Some claim that unless you nearly submerge the filter in water, it won't be an issue.

Yeahhhh.....Injen says the hydroshield lowers the risk of hydrolock.....lowering is good, but it's not eliminating. They go on to say that the hydroshield is water repellent....not water proof. I know their numbers on the dyno are great!!! No arguments there, but a tiny bit of extra hp is just not enough for me to go there. 'Sides CAI had the highest peak gain, good enough for me. Just a personal opinion though....I'm sure in your situation you'll be fine, I drive through some nasty stuff on occasion where I'm at unfortunately. Bottom line is.....they all give you some added pep so to each there own!!!

On a quick side note.....you liking that AAC red dome?

PittPaz, I hope you enjoy man, glad you got the spot!
