Taz, I love my Halo's. The remote is a bit tricky to figure out. Once I get my baby fixed we are going to have to have a get together. So if you have figured out the remote better than me you can share.
I'm just waiting to heal a bit more from my procedure so I can take my car in. My drivers door won't open so I hope they will just consider it unsafe to drive so I can get a rental.

It was Oracle who hooked me up with the pass to SEMA this year, so got to meet alot of their folks at thier booth. Good thing that I did because I was able to arrange Oracle and George together so that we would have an installer on island. Unfortunately that my install had problems, but it also forced them to work together to get the bugs out. Works out both ways so that Oracle will have a contact on island and George will have more work come his way. Now, it they can only get my lights working. Got the upgraded SMD Oracle kit, the LED Conversion kit and the footwell lighting.

Not sure if there are any car shows this weekend, but will not be available due to other commitments.

Dropped off my car today for repairs, was told maybe by mid month everything should be fixed. At the latest the 24th. Not bad seeing that I'm off work until the 14th for recovery from my surgery.
For now all enterprise had for a loaner is a Volkswagen beetle.

What would make it funnier is if you picked a yellow one.

I should of requested through enterprise a yellow one. I also realize a car is a car it gets us around but the Marines and other civilians I work with will be busting my balls if I drive in in a beetle.

Got a call from the shop today. My rocker panel is destroyed and was told at least 26 days to repair.

Craig, is this because parts not in stock? Or is it the frame under the rocker panel. Time to upgrade your side skirts.

Parts need to come in. Also all the interior needs to come out to repair the panel and the rear fender. Instead of doing bondo they are just putting a whole new left rear fender. I was told the gills wouldn't look right if they did bondo.
So I guess I should be happy

I love my car but part of me is wondering if I should just trade it in after this for something else. I won't be happy but I'm so upset my car is damaged and won't be the same. I think this also has to do with me just having surgery and recovering my self. Hopefully in a few days I will feel different.

Acme Fender was working on another Camaro with side damage. The door/side reinforcement may need to be replaced, in addition to the outside panel skins. A lot of work. That car was in the shop a long time, too. Didn't help when the brace came in damaged from shipping. Plus, it was their first colision repair for a 5th gen Camaro.

JusticePete(Pedders) posted a lot of naked structural reinforcement pics in the suspension sections. This car looks like it's built pretty solid. Probably saved Calvin's life in his accident. Plus, gotta love all those airbags.

Has anyone gone by Bode's shop lately? Was wondering if he is still swamped. Gotta get some upgrades done.

No. Acme fender's car is not Calvin's. This car got hit on the door to the rear quarter panel.
