Got mine at Purifoy and was only charged MSRP. There have been quite a few 3k - 5k over MSRP dealers. I've seen as high as 10k over up in Minnesota. I think there was somebody nearby that actually under MSRP - "mtcwby" might know.

Gotta love catching dealers with their miscellaneous adds to make a quick profit! Kinda leaves em speachless..

Lloyds of London????? After all, they insured Katharine Bachs legs (girl off Dukes of Hazard) for 1 million dollars. Our Camaros have to be worth that much just for their looks alone.

Post if you find someone who offers hazard insurance.

I also had a good experience at Len Lyall. Bought mine off the floor, haggled a little but in a good natured way.

GO TO "GO CHEVY" ask for RICH and RICH only tell him Kirk sent you. DOnt talk to any of the salesmen, he is the fleet manager. He will give you the car at the GMS price. I got mine at the GM employee price and it was the first SS they got in!

Anybody here have their 2010 CGM IOM striped Camaro in the Denver St. Patrick's Day parade today? I wasn't close enough to see if it was a dealer or private party, but it got big cheers from the crowd. Looked like FwyFlyer's colors.

Some of us have already been to that track with our Camaros last summer and yes, it is a freakin blast! Be prepared to buy new tires and brakes when you are done!

Saw the Black Hennesey 600 again down here in Parker. Driver wasnt too friendly though!

Kirk, beat me to it. I went by GO Chevy on Saturday and they had 7 Camaros in stock, all different colors and options. Charging sticker for them. If anyone wants to check out the Synergy Green Camaro, they have one. It is a beautiful car, has CGM stripes. Check it out when the sun is shining, the color will take your breath away!!!

No group discounts, unless you rent the whole track and you don't want to know what that costs. $100 is a great price, that is for a whole day.

If you want to run hard all day at the track, change your brake fluid to Motul RBF600. It has almost 200 degrees higher wet boiling temp than the stock fluid. Also go get some Hawk HPS pads, they will also handle more heat.

Kirk, I guess I'll have to drive down to Parker and give that Hennessey 600 owner a lesson in manners, IOM Vortech style!!! LOL

I think we are SOL when it comes to insurance while racing at a track. The old saying "Gotta pay to Play" pretty much applies. What really sucks is that we are pretty much safe enough drivers (from what I saw last summer at Bandimere and High Plains), but when that 18 yr old in the ricer loses it and comes across the track into your lane and wipes you out, there is no recourse to get them to pay for your damage. It says that right on the form you sign when you pay to race. You are responsible for your own damage, no matter who causes it.
