I hav an idea for a poor man's vvt delete but will get back to you on that....

You're waiting on HP tuners at this point then?

Correct - that's the new holy grail so to speak. I'm willing to wait to see what happens with HP: car is running and fun to drive - it's real quick when dropping from 5th to 3rd for a fast triple digit pass on the highway. There's a few quirks but nothing that can't be lived with.

As a bonus - wife bought me a GoPro for my birthday so can now look at getting some videos!

The RX system has been completed, however getting a tune for it is still in the works as Trifecta and RX are no longer working together for the tunes. RX is working on another source. Some of his system and set-up can be found on other forums (which cannot be mentioned here, due to those sights names being banned here on C5). The RX top mount that is in that photo is currently the only top mount system for the V6. All other superchargers weather from RX or IPF are the side mount style (similar to a turbo but these use belts for drive not exhaust like a turbo does).

There are a couple of these top mounts on the road today, however the tune has not been perfected, once this happens I suspect more will show up in the future.

Like most here with LLTs the issue is the the tune. Hopefully HPT will come through. RX does have a LFX with the top mount thats a DD and been running for almost 6 months. I have the IPF but this is a system I would have considered.

Thanks for the insight I really like the RX System & old school look thru the hood...totally cool look ! What other supporting Mods in the drive line do you think needs up grading besides the clutch ?

As far as I know, most have not done any other updates to the drivleine, other than suspension for better traction. Not to say you shouldn't look to perform some of those upgrades, many of them may not be necessary.

Top mount seems like a massive pain to fit. I like the idea. In my opinion a good side mount and lumpy cams would be awesome.

Hello. Have not heard much this year on any progress. How are things coming along and have you had the tune done yet? Also any new updated videos you could post on how it sounds and the way it is running right now? Thanks
